Գերմանական հեղինակավոր DerWesten պարբերականը Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի առաջատար Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանին ճանաչել է Գերմանիայի գավաթի խաղարկության 1/8 եզրափակչի «Բորուսիա»-«Աուգսբուրգ» հանդիպման լավագույն ֆուտբոլիստ՝ նրա խաղը բոլոր ֆուտբոլիստների շրջանում գնահատելով ամենաբարձր՝ «2» բալով:

«Հանդիպման ամենաաչքի ընկնող ֆուտբոլիստներից էր ու պարգևատրվեց խփած գոլով` մոտ 20 մետրից կատարած հարվածով (66-րդ րոպե): Բացի այդ նա ստեղծեց Դորտմունդի միակ իրական հնարավորությունն առաջին կեսում` փոխանցում կատարելով Օբամեյանգին (40-րդ րոպե): Թեև ևս մեկ գերազանց հնարավորություն բաց թողեց գոլ խփելու, երբ չհասցրեց Օբամեյանգի փոխանցմանը, սակայն դա ավելի շատ փոխանցման չափազանց ուժեղ լինելու պատճառով էր»,- գրել է պարբերականը:

Դեկտեմբերի 16-ին կայացած այդ խաղում «Բորուսսիա»-ն առավելության էև հասել 2-0 հաշվով: Քառորդ եզրափակիչում Մխիթարյանի թիմը կհանդիպի «Շտուտգարտ»-ին:
