Սոմալիի կառավարությունը պաշտոնապես արգելել է երկրում նշել Ամանորը և տեղի իրավապահներին հանձնարարվել է թույլ չտալ քրիստոնյաներին մասսայական միջոցառումներ անցկացնել, տեղեկացնում է Orer.am-ը:

«Այդ տոնակատարությունը որևէ կապ չունի իսլամի հետ, և եթե Սոմալիում մուսուլմանները Ամանոր են նշում, դա սխալ է»,- իր ելույթում նշել է երկրի կրոնի հարցերով նախարարը: Արգելքը չի վերաբերում զբոսաշրջիկներին, որոնց թույլատրվում է ամանորյա տոնակատարություններն իրենց բնակատեղիում նշել, սակայն այն նշել հյուրանոցներում և հասարակական վայրերում չի կարելի:

Արգելքը չի վերաբերում նաև այնտեղ տեղակայված ՄԱԿ-ի գրասենյակի և Աֆրիկյան խաղաղապահ միության բազաների տարածքներին: Երկրում գործունեություն ծավալող դիտորդների տեղեկացմամբ՝ երկրի բազմաթիվ քաղաքացիներ, ովքեր Սոմալիում սկիզբ առած քաղաքացիական պատերազմի պատճառով բնակություն են հաստատել այլ երկրներում, Ամանորին վերադառնում են հայրենիք՝ իրենց հետ բերելով եվրոպական արժեքներն ու սովորույթները:
