Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավոր Արագած Ախոյանը 2015թ. Հայաստանի համար կարևոր ձեռքբերում է համարում սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների հանրաքվեի անցկացումը:«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում պատգամավորը նշեց, որ սահմանադրական բարեփոխումները նոր էջ են բացում Հայաստանի պատմության համար և կհանգեցնեն դրական փոփոխությունների: «Ես սա շատ կարևոր ձեռքբերում եմ համարում մեր պետության համար: Ինքս ակտիվորեն մասնակցել եմ սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների հանրաքվեի  քարոզարշավին, փորձել եմ սովորական ընտրողի համար հասկանալի դարձնել բարեփոխումների իրական նպատակը և կարծում եմ, որ իմ գործողություններն ինչ-որ չափով արդյունավետ են եղել: Ես այն կարծիքին եմ, որ սահմանադրական բարեփոխումները դրական փոփոխությունների են բերելու»,- նշեց պատգամավորը:

Նրա դիտարկմամբ` շատ կարևոր է այն հանգամանքը, որ բարեփոխումների արդյունքում վերանում է մեծամասնական ընտրակարգը, որը պատգամավորի խոսքով՝ արդեն նմանվում էր սպորտային մրցավազքի: «Հիմա արդեն ավելի  կարևոր կլինի կուսակցությունների գաղափարախոսությունը, ոչ թե ինչ-որ չգրված օրենքներով՝ սուտ խոստումներով, ֆինանսական ահռելի միջոցներ ծախսելու եղանակով պատգամավոր դառնալը: Առաջ կգան քաղաքական գործիչներ, ովքեր կփորձեն բարձր պահել իրենց կուսակցության պատիվը՝ հաջորդ ընտրություններում ևս ձայներ հավաքելու համար»,- հավելեց Ախոյա նը:

Պատգամավորը կարևորում է նաև խորհրդարանում ընդդիմության դերի էական բարձրացումը, ինչը նախատեսված է բարեփոխված Սահմանադրությամբ: «Եթե հիմա մեծամասնությունը կարողանում է ցանկացած հարց մտցնել օրակարգ և ընդունել կամ ընդհանրապես օրակարգ չմտցնել, ապա բարեփոխումներից հետո ընդդիմությունը լուրջ հնարավորություններ է ստանում սեփական նախաձեռնությամբ նախագծեր բերելու և խորհրդարանում քննարկման դնելու համար»,- եզրափակեց Արագած Ախոյանը:

Հայաստանում 2015թ. դեկտեմբերի 6-ին տեղի է ունեցել սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների հանրաքվե: Ըստ վերջնական արդյունքների` քվեարկելու իրավունք ունեցող քաղաքացիների ընդհանուր թիվը եղել է 2 միլիոն 566 հազար 998, քվեարկությանը մասնակցել են 1 միլիոն 302 հազար 613 քաղաքացիներ՝ 50.74 տոկոս: Անվավեր է ճանաչվել 53 հազար 435 քվեաթերթիկ, «այո» է քվեարկել 825 հազար 521 մարդ՝ 63.37 տոկոս, «ոչ»` 421 հազար 568՝ 32.36 տոկոս:
