Սիրիայի ներքաղաքական ճգնաժամի զարգացումները, ինչպես նաև տարածաշրջանային երկկողմ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող մի շարք հարցեր են քննարկվել Սիրիայի Ժողովրդական Ժողովի նախագահ, դոկտոր Մոհամադ Ջիհադ ալ Լահամի և Սիրիայում ՀՀ դեսպան Արշակ Փոլադյանի հունվարի 14-ին կայացած հանդիպման ժամանակ։ Անդրադարձ է կատարվել հայ-սիրիակա ն հարաբերությունների հեռանկարներին, մասնավորապես, ընդգծվել միջխորհրդարանական համագործակցության կարևորությունը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտգործնախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, հանդիպմանը Սիրիայի խորհրդարանի նախագահը կարևորել է 2015թ. ապրիլին` Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված պետական միջոցառումների շրջանակներում Երևան կատարած իր պաշտոնական այցը` ընդգծելով այդ միջոցառումների քաղաքական մեծ նշանակությունը Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման և դատապարտման հարցում:
