Հայաստանն ու Մեծ Բրիտանիան ստորագրել են պաշտպանական բնագավառում 2016-2017թթ. համագործակցության պլանը

Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Միացյալ Թագավարության պաշտպանության նախարարությունների միջև պաշտպանական բնագավառում համագործակցության շրջանակներում Լոնդոնում հունվարի 14-ին անցկացվել են հայ-բրիտանական երկրորդ ռազմաքաղաքական խորհրդակցությունները, որին հայկական կողմից մասնակցել է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ Դավիթ Տոնոյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, խորհրդակցությունների ընթացքում ամփոփվել են 2015թ. երկկողմ համագործակցության արդյունքները և քննարկվել են հայ-բրիտանական պաշտպանական բնագավառում 2016-2017թ.թ. համագործակցության հեռանկարները:

Քննարկումների արդյունքում ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի առաջին տեղակալը և քննարկումներին մասնակցող բրիտանական պատվիրակության ղեկավար, Միացյալ Թագավորության միջազգային անվտանգային քաղաքականության տնօրեն Նիք Գըրը (Director International Security Policy, Mr. Nick Gurr) ստորագրել են Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Միացյալ Թագավարություն պաշտպանության նախարարությունների միջև պաշտպանական բնագավառում 2016-2017 թվականների համագործակցության պլանը: Այն ընդգրկում է համագործակցության մոտ երկու տասնյակ ուղղություններ, որոնք հիմնականում առնչվում են ռազմ ական կրթությանը և վերապատրաստմանը, տարբեր ոլորտներում փորձի փոխանակմանը և այլն: ՀՀ Սահմանադրության փոփոխությունների ընդունումից հետո նախատեսվող ՀՀ պաշտպանությանը և անվտանգությանը վերաբերող օրենսդրության վերանայման նպատակով, հաշվի առնելով վերոնշյալ ոլորտներում Մեծ Բրիտանիայի խորհրդարանական կառավարման մեծ փորձը՝ համագործակցության պլանով նախատեսվում է  խորհրդատվական աջակցություն:  

Ռազմաքաղաքական խորհրդակցությունների ամփոփումը իրականացվել է Միացյալ Թագավորության պաշտպանության նախարարության պահեստազորի և միջազգային պաշտպանական համագործակցության հարցերով պետական նախարար պարոն Ջուլիան Բրեյզերի (UK Minister of State for Reserves also responsible for International Defence Cooperation Mr. Julian Brazier) հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում:

Նույն օրը տեղի է ունեցել ՀՀ ՊՆ պատվիրակության հանդիպումը ՄԹ ԱԳՆ Արևելյան Եվրոպայի և Կենտրոնական Ասիայի հարցերով դիրեկտորատի տնօրեն Մայքլ Թաթհամի (Head of Eastern Europe & Central Asia Directorate, Foreign and Commonwealth Office Mr. Michael Tatham) հետ:  Քննարկվել են երկկողմ պաշտպանական համագործակցությանը, միջազգային և տարածաշրջանային անվտանգությանը, ինչպես նաև Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությանն առնչվող հարցեր: Մասնավորապես՝ ներկայացվել է զինված դիմակայության իրավիճակը:

Այսօր՝ հունվարի 15-ին, Միացյալ Թագավորության խորհրդարանում նախատեսվում է հանդիպում ՄԹ խորհրդարանի բոլորը կուսակցությունները ներկայացնող Հայաստանի հետ բարեկամության խորհրդարանական խմբի նախագահ, ՄԹ խորհրդարանի անդամ Ստեֆան Փաունդի (Mr. Stephan Pound, MP, Chair, Armenia All-Party Parliamentary Group) հետ:
