Իտալիայի Պալերմո բնակավայրի Կապուչինի կատակոմբներում է գտնվում աշխարհի ամենագեղեցիկ մումիան: Մարդիկ այն «Քնած գեղեցկուհի» են անվանում: Այն այնքան լավ է պահպանված, որ կարող է թվալ, թե նա կենդանի է, հատկապես, երբ նա թարթում է աչքերը:

1920թ.ին Ռոզալիա Լոմբարդոն ընդամենը երկու տարեկան էր, երբ մահացավ թոքախտից: Քիչ բան է հայտնի Ռոզալիայի կարճ կյանքի մասին, սակայն հայտնի , որ իր մահվանից հետո նրան զմռսել է Ալֆրեդո Սալաֆիան, ով այնքան վարպետորեն է արել իր գործը, որ նույնիսկ ժամանակակից տեխնոլոգիաներով դա անելու դեպքում, հնարավոր չէր լինի գերազանցել նրան: Պետք է նշել նաև, որ միայն վերջերս էր, որ հայտնաբերվեց ու հասկացվեց Սալֆիայի կողմից կիրառված տեխնոլոգիան:
