Հայաստանի տարածքով իրանական գազի մատակարարումը Վրաստանին կնպաստի հայ- վրացական հարաբերությունների բարելավմանը

Չնայած նրան, որ հաճախ խոսվում է հայ-վրացական  բարիադրացիական հարաբերությունների մասին, միևնույն է երկու երկրների միջև շփումը սահմանափակ է: Սահմանափակ շփման վրա իր ազդեցություն է թողնում Վրաստանի կախվածությունը Ադրբեջանից և Թուրքիայից: 

Լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը նման դիտարկում արեց վրացագետ Ջոնի Մելիքյանը:

«Հետաքրքիր էր այն, որ ռուս-թուրքական հարաբերություններին Թբիլիսին իր մասնակցությունը չունեցավ, որոշեց չեզոք դիրք զբաղեցնել, ինչը նշանակում է, որ սա Վրաստանի կողմից որոշակի քայլ էր հարևանների հետ հարաբերությունների կարգավորման: Վերջին գազային բանակցություններ էլ ցույց են տալիս, որ Վրաստանը ցանկություն ունի իր էներգոհամակարգը դիվերսիֆիկացնելու, որպեսզի այն կախվածությունը, որն այսօր ունի Ադրբեջանից, նվազագույնի հասցվի»,- ասաց Մելիքյանը՝ հավելելով, որ Վրաստանում գազի մոտ 87 տոկոսը ադրբեջանական է:

Վրացագետի խոսքով՝ Վրաստանը  որոշում է կայացրել բանակցություններ վարել ռուսական «Գազպրոմ»- ի և իրանական կողմի հետ՝ հաշվի առնելով այն հանգամանքը, որ Ադրբեջանը հավելյալ քանակությամբ գազ չի ունենա Վրաստանին մատակարարելու համար:  Ըստ վրացագետի, ռուս-վրացական բանակցություններին կմիանա նաև իրանական կողմը: Այդ ամենին աջակցում է նաև Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը, և գազային փոխանակումներ տեղի կունենան:

«Երբ Հայաստանը հյուսիս-հարավ գազատարով Վրաստանին իրանական գազ կտրամադրի, իսկ իրանական կողմը կտրամադրի ռուսական գազ, այս փոխանակումների շնորհիվ որոշ չափով մենք ավելի կարևոր կդառնանք Վրաստանի համար: Այսպիսի հարաբերություններն ավելի կմոտեցնեն Հայաստանին և Վրաստանին  տնտեսական  ու էներգետիկ դաշտում, քան «կենացային» դիվանագիտությունը: Այսպիսի իրատեսական քայլեր կան, որոնք կարող են բերել լուրջ արդյունքների»,- ասաց նա:
