Հայաստանում «Բաց երկնքի» քաղաքականության դրական և բացասական կողմերի մասին մամուլում արդեն բավական շատ է խոսվել։ Չնայած փորձագետների այն պնդումներին, որ Հայաստանի պես աշխարհաքաղաքական միջավայր ունեցող երկրների համար ավիացիայի շուկայի կարգավորման նման մոտեցումները հղի են մի շարք վտանգներով, այնուամենայնիվ պատկան մարմինները վստահ են, որ «Բաց երկնքի» քաղաքականությունը նպաստում է ավիացիոն բիզնեսի զարգացմանը։ Որպես հիմնական փաստարկ նշվում է այն հանգամանքը, որ միմյանց միջև մրցակցող ավիաընկերություններն իջեցնում են մատուցվող ծառայությունների գները։
Times.am-ի ընթերցողներն, անշուշտ, գիտեն, որ այս թեման մշտապես գտնվել է մեր ուշադրության կենտրոնում։ Բանը նրանում է, որ հաճախ ավիատոմսերի գներն իջել են ոչ թե «Բաց երկնքի» քաղաքականության արդյունքում, այլ ավիաընկերությունների անարդար'դեմպինգային մրցակցության հետևանքով։ Այսպես, ռուսական այնպիսի ավիաընկերություններ, ինչպիսիք են UTair-ը կամ «Աէրոֆլոտը», Ռուսաստանի մի շարք քաղաքներից դեպի Երևան տոմսերի գինն այնքան էին իջեցրել, որ այլ ավիաուղիներ ստիպված էին հրաժարվել այդ ուղղությունների սպասարկումից։ Ընդ որում, մրցակիցներին դաշտից դուրս բերելու իրենց մղման մեջ ռուսաստանյան ավիաընկերությունները հաճախ գործում էին ի վնաս սեփական շահերի։ Օրինակ, Սոչիից, Կրասնոդարից և Մինվոդիից Երևան միակողմանի թռիչքի համար 38 եվրոյով ավիատոմսեր առաջակող UTair ընկերությունն ստիպված էր ինքը դադարեցնել հիշատակված ուղղություններով թռիչքները։ Արդյունքում նշված քաղաքներից դեպի Երևան ավիափոխադրումներում գրեթե մոնոպոլ դիրք է ստացել ռուսաստանյան մեկ այլ ընկերություն' «Աէրոֆլոտը»։ Վերջինս էլ, բնականաբար, արդեն օգտվում է իր գերակա դիրքից և ուղևորներին կրկին թանկ գնով տոմսեր առաջարկում։
