Հունվարի 23-ին ամերիկյան Նյու-Ջերսի քաղաքում սարսափելի ողբերգություն է տեղի ունեցել:

Ձմեռային մի ցուրտ օր, մայրիկը՝ երկու փոքրիկ երեխաների հետ (1 և 3 տարեկան), նստեց մեքենան: Այդ ընթացքում նրա ամուսինը մաքրում էր բակի ձյունը, որը ծածկել էր մեքենան և փակել էր ճանապարհը: Դրսում սառնամանիք էր և մայրիկն ու երեխաները չէին ուզում սառչել դրսում, այս մասին հայտնում է Washington Post-ը:

Բայց ոչ ոք չէր մտածել այն մասին, որ մեքենան համարյա ամբողջությամբ ձյունակույտի տակ էր մնացել, և նրա խլացուցիչ խողովակը խցանվել էր:

Մի քանի րոպեների ընթացքում՝ մինչ հայրիկը մաքրում էր ձյունը, նրա ողջ ընտանիքը մահացավ…

Երեքն ել մահացել են մի քանի րոպեների ընթացքում: Նրանց սպանել է ածխածնի օքսիդը (գազը):

Ածխածնի օքսիդին հաճախ անվանում են «լուռ մարդասպան»: Այս գազը ո՛չ գույն ունի, ո՛չ հոտ և ո՛չ էլ համ: Չնայած սրան՝ այն շատ թունավոր է:

«Ցանկացած ձյուն՝ լցված ձեր մեքենայի խլացուցիչ խողովակի մեջ, կարող է սպանել ձեզ: Ձյան մաքրումը սկսեց հենց այդ խողովակից: Արեք դա մինչև մեքենայի շարժիչի միացնելն ու գործի դնելը», – ասում է փորձագետը:

Իհարկե սա սարսափելի պատմություն է, բայց նաև դաս և նախազգուշացում է բոլորիս համար:
