Այդ առավոտ 25-ամյա Ջեննի Գրոսբեկի հայրը զգաց, որ իր աղջկա հետ ինչ-որ բան այն չէ: Նա շտապեց աղջկա տուն: Նրան տանը չգտնելով՝ հայրն ավելի անհանգստացավ: Կատարվածի մասին նա 14 ժամ հետո իմացավ:

Ձմեռային այդ առավոտյան երիտասարդ աղջիկն իր փոքրիկ աղջկա հետ ավտովթարի էր ենթարկվել: Մայր ու աղջիկ հայտնվել էին սառած գետի մեջ:

Միայն 14 ժամ հետո ձկնորսները նկատեցին Ջեննիի մեքենան: Տղամարդիկ անմիջապես փրկարարների խումբ կանչեցին: Փորձելով մոտենալ մեքենային՝ փրկարարները շատ հստակ կանացի բղավոց լսեցին, ով փրկություն էր խնդրում: Նրանք պատասխանեցին՝ հույս ունենալով, որ մեքենայում ողջ մնացած մարդիկ կան:

Մեքենայի մեջ նրանք հայտանաբերեցին մահացած աղջկան: 19 ամսական փոքրիկ Լիլին դեռ ողջ էր: Փորձաքննության ժամանակ պարզ դարձավ, որ փրկարարների հասնելուց մի քանի ժամ առաջ Ջեննին արդեն մահացած է եղել: Փրկարարները շոկի մեջ էին…

Ոչ ոք չէր կարողանում բացատրել, թե տղամարդիկ ինչու են կանացի ձայներ լսել: Հենց կանացի, այլ ոչ թե երեխայի: Նրանցից մեկը հիշում և պատմում է, թե նրանք չորսն էլ, ինչպես են լսել կանացի ձայն, «օգնեցեք» բղավող:

Փոքրիկ Լիլիին անմիջապես հիվանդանոց են տեղափոխել: Բժիշկներն ասում են, որ ևս մեկ րոպե, և աղջկա կյանքը հնարավոր չէր լինի փրկել: Այժմ փոքրիկ Լիլին իր ողջ կյանքում շնորհակալ կլինի այն միստիկ, առեղծվածային ձայնին, որի շնորհիվ փրկվել է:
