Վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանն ընդունել է Վրաստանի պաշտպանության նախարար Թինաթին Խիդաշելիի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը: Վարչապետը ողջունել է տիկին Խիդաշելիի այցը Հայաստան և նշել, որ նման մակարդակի այցելությունները նպաստում են երկու հարևան պետությունների և ժողովուրդների հարաբերությունների զարգացմանն ու ամրապնդմանը: 

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի քաղաքական ու տնտեսական հարաբերությունները գտնվում են բարձր հիմքերի վրա՝ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը կարևորել է համագործակցության զարգացումը նաև պաշտպանական ոլորտում, ինչը կամրապնդի ինչպես երկու բարեկամ պետությունների, այնպես էլ ողջ տարածաշրջանի անվտանգությունը: Վարչապետ Աբրահամյանի խոսքով՝ աշխարհաքաղաքական ներկայիս դժվար իրավիճակի հետևանքով առաջացող մարտահրավերներին դիմագրավելու համատեքստում պաշտպանության և անվտանգության ոլորտում փոխգործակցությունը դարձել է ոչ միայն արդիական, այլ նաև հրամայական:

Տիկին Խիդաշելին շնորհակալություն է հայտնել վարչապետին ջերմ ընդունելության համար և նշել, որ պաշտպանական բնագավառում Հայաստանի ու Վրաստանի փոխգործակցությունը ծավալվում է ոչ միայն երկկողմ ձևաչափում, այլ նաև ՆԱՏՕ-ի խաղաղապահ առաքելության շրջանակում: Վրաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարը կարևորել է տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության ամրապնդումը և խաղաղության ապահովումը:
