ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարար Արմեն Մուրադյանն առաջատար և գլխավոր համաճարակաբանների, վարակաբանների, իմունոլոգների հետ քննարկել է  աշխարհում և Հայաստանում վարակների հետ կապված մարտահրավերները, դրանց հաղթահարման ուղղությամբ իրականացվող աշխատանքները և առաջիկա անելիքները։

Նախարարը գիտնական-մասն ագետների հետ քննարկել է ինչպես գրիպի, մասնավորապես` H1N1-ի բուժման արդյունավետությունն, այնպես էլ` աշխարհի մի շարք երկրներում արձանագրված Զիկա տենդի և այլ վարակների ներթափանցման հնարավորությունները։ Մասնագետները նշել են, որ Զիկա տենդը փոխանցող «Aedes aegypti» ցեղի մոծակներ Հայաստանում չեն հայտնաբերվել։ Սակայն Կենտրոնական կամ Հարավային Ամերիկա մեկնողներին անհրաժեշտ է իրազեկել։  Չեն բացառվում ներկրվող դեպքերը։ ՀՀ ԱՆ հիվանդությունների վերահսկման և կանխարգելման ազգային կենտրոնի գլխավոր տնօրեն Արտավազդ Վանյանը նշել է, որ  աշխատան քներ են տարվում տենդի հետ կապված ուղեցույցների պատրաստման ուղղությամբ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարությունից, մասնագետները շեշտել են, որ նախարարությունը լուրջ աշխատանքներ է կատարել գրիպով և սուր շնչառական վարակներով պայմանավորված իրավիճակի վերահսկման և կառավարման  ուղղությամբ։ Ներկայացվել է, որ   դեռևս 2015թ. սեպտեմբերին հիվանդանոցների վերակենդանացման բաժանմունքների բժիշկներն Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության փորձագետի մասնակցությամբ հատուկ վերապատրաստվել են գրիպի ու դրա բարդությունների բուժման ուղղությամբ։

Ընդ որում, առաջին անգամ կրթական գործընթացը եղել է ոչ միայն թեմատիկ, այլև գործնական։  Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության աջակցությամբ անցած տարվա դեկտեմբերին կազմակերպվել է նաև գրիպի տարեկան աշխատաժողով` Երևանի և մարզերի վարակաբանների ու համաճարակաբանների մասնակցությամբ։ 2015թ. դեկտեմբերի 30-ին ձևավորված արագ արձագանքման աշխատանքային խմբի  կողմից ձեռնարկված կանխարգելիչ, կազմակերպական և բուժական  աշխատանքների արդյունքում բարձրացվել է բնակչության զգոնությունը։ Մարդկանց` բժշկական հաստատություններ շուտ դիմելու շնորհիվ հնարվորինս քիչ թվով ծանր դեպքեր են արձանագրվել, հարյուրավոր մարդկանց կյանք փրկվել է մասնագետների բարձր պատրաստվածության շնորհիվ։
