Վատիկանում բացվել և մշտական ցուցադրության է դրվել հայկական միջնադրարյան խաչքար (լուսանկարներ)

Պաշտոնական այցով Սուրբ Աթոռում գտնվող Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր այցելել է Վատիկանյան թանգարաններ, որտեղ նրա մասնակցությամբ բացվել և մշտական ցուցադրության է դրվել հայկական միջնադրարյան խաչքար։ 1246թ. թվագրվող խաչքարը տեղադրվել է Վատիկանյան թանգարանների Ուրբանոս 8-րդ Պապի անվան ցուցասրահում' հանրահայտ Սիքստինյան կապելլայի հարևանությամբ։

Թանգարանային մասնաշենքի մուտքի մոտ ՀՀ Նախագահին դիմավորել են Վատիկանի նահանգապետ Կարդինալ Ջուզեպպե Բերտելլոն, Վատիկանյան թանգարանների տնօրեն պրոֆեսոր Անտոնիո Պաոլուչին և սեկցիաների ղեկավարները: ՀՀ Նախագահն ուղեկցվել է հայկական միջնադարյան խաչքարի մշտական ցուցադրության սրահ: Խաչքարի բացմանը ելույթներ են ունեցել Կարդինալ Բերտելլոն և պրոֆ. Անտոնիո Պաոլուչին: Թանգարանի վիմագրական նմուշների պատասխանատու պրն. Ֆիլիպինին և Բոլոնիայի համալսարանի հայագիտության ամբիոնի վարիչ պրոֆ. Աննա Սիրինյանը ներկայացրել են խաչքարի պատմությունը, որից հետո ելույթ է ունեցել նաև Սուրբ Աթոռում ՀՀ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Միքայել Մինասյանը: Բանախոսները նշել են, որ հայկական մշակույթի վառ օրինակ խաչքարը հայտնաբերվել է 17-րդ դարում Վատիկանում Ս.Պետրոսի հրապարակի շրջակայքում։

ՀՀ Նախագահը Վատիկանյան թանգարաններին նվիրել է հայ ժամանակակից քանդակագործ Կարեն Բաղդասարյանի քանդակը։
