Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախումբը դիմել է Միացյալ Նահանգների իշխանություններին, մասնավորապես նախագահ Բարաք Օբամային` ավելացնելու Հայաստանին և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությանը տրվող ֆինանսական օգնության չափը: Հանձնախումբը նման պահանջ է ներկայացրել այն բանից հետո, ինչ ԱՄՆ նասխագահը հրապարակել է 2017 թվականի ֆինանսական տարվա բյուջեի նախագիծը:

Այս մասին տեղեկացրին Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախմբից:

Բարաք Օբաման նոր ծրագրով առաջարկել է Հայաստանին տնտեսական օգնություն տրամադրել 22 մլն 412 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլարի չափով, ինչը 22 տոկոսով ավելի է նախորդ տարվանից: Ադրբեջանին Օբաման առաջարկել է տրամադրել 10 մլն 936 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլար:

Թե՛ Հայաստանին, թե՛ Ադրբեջանին առաջարկվում է տրամադրել 600 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլար ռազմական կրթության և վարժանքների համար և 1 մլն ԱՄՆ դոլար արտաքին ռազմական ֆինանսավորման նպատակով:

Թմրանյութերի միջազգային վերահսկման և օրենքի նպատակով Օբաման առաջակել է տրամադրել Հայաստանին 1 մլն 700 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլար:

Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությանը տրամադրվելիք օգնության չափի մասին ԱՄՆ նախագահի հրապարակած փաստաթղթում ոչինչ չի նշվում, թեպետ նախորդ տարիներին տրամադրվել է մոտ 1.5 մլն ԱՄՆ դոլար:

Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախումբը պահանջում է ԱՄՆ նախագահից Հայաստանին հատկացնել 40 մլն ԱՄՆ դոլար, իսկ ԼՂՀ-ին` նվազագույնը 5 մլն ԱՄՆ դոլար: Բացի այդ, հանձնախումբն առաջարկում է 10 մլն ԱՄՆ դոլար հատկացնել Հայաստանում ապաստան գտած 20 հազար սիրիահայերի համար, իսկ Վրաստանին տրվող գումարի 10 տոկոսն օգտագործել Սամցխե-Ջավախի շրջանի զարգացման համար:
