Ալ. Սպենդիարյանի անվան օպերայի և բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնի գլխավոր բալետմայստեր ՀՀ ժողովրդական արտիստ Վիլեն Գալստյանը տոնում է ծննդյան հոբելյանը: Հայկական բալետային արվեստի երախտավորը փետրվարի 12-ին նշում է ծննդյան 75-ամյակը: «Անցած տարիները մնում են անցյալում: Ինձ համար ամենապատասխանատու օրերն են, քանի որ բեմադրում եմ Արամ Խաչատրյանի &laq uo;Դիմակահանդես» բալետը: Շատ երջանիկ եմ, պիտի տառապալից աշխատեմ, որ «Դիմակահանդես»-ը հաջողություն ունենա»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց Վիլեն Գալստյանը: Նրա խոսքով` ծրագրում այլ բեմադրություններ էլ կան, սակայն դրանց մասին խոսելը դեռ վաղ է: «Կուզեի Տիգրան Մանսուրյանի «Ձյունե թագուհին» նորից բեմադրել:

Այն ժամանակ թատրոնում լույս չկար, դեկորները բորբոսնեցին, թափեցինք: Իմ արվեստի մի մասը թափեցինք»,-ափսոսանքով նշեց Վիլեն Գալստյանը: Ալ. Սպենդիարյանի անվան օպերայի և բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնում փետրվարի 13-ին կայանալիք գալստյանական խորեոգրաֆիայով Ա. Խաչատրյանի «Գայանե» բալետային ներկայացումը նվիրվում է հոբելյարին: Մինչ ներկայացումը Հայաստանի գլխավոր թատրոնում տեղի կունենա հանդիսություն՝ նվիրված Գալստյանի ծննդյան 75–ամյակին: Իր ծննդյան օրը` փետրվարի 12-ը, օպերային թատրոնի գլխավոր բալետմայստերը նշում է մշակութային հաստատությունում. դիտելու է «Գայանե»-ի փորձը: «Մեր հանդիսատեսն ամենածանր օրերին էլ բալետ է դիտում՝ անկախ ամեն ինչից:

Բալետը Հայաստանում սիրում են… Ուրախալի է»,-վստահ է Վիլեն Գալստյանը: Վիլեն Գալստյանը 1959 թ. Երևանի պարարվեստի պետական ուսումնարանն ավարտելուց հետո բեմ է բարձրացել Թբիլիսիի Փալիաշվիլու անվան օպերայի և բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնում, այնուհետև 1961 թվականից հանդես է եկել Երևանի օպերայի և բալետի թատրոնում: Վիլեն Գալստյանի արվեստի երկրպագուները մինչ օրս հիշում են նրա կերտած կերպարները, այդ թվում՝ Սպարտակը՝ Խաչատրյանի նույնանուն բալետային ներկայացման մեջ (1961թ.), Արմենը՝ Խաչատրյանի «Գայանեում»(1974թ.), Ալբերտը՝ Ադանի «Ժիզելում» (1961թ.), Կոմիտասը՝ «Անտունիում» (1969թ.), Դավիթը՝ «Սասունցի Դավիթում» (1976թ.), Ռոմեոն՝ Պրոկոֆևի «Ռոմեո եւ Ջուլիետում» (1970թ.): Վիլեն Գալստյանը բեմ է բարձրացել Մոսկվայի Մեծ թատրոնում, ինչպես նաև Անգլիայի, Ֆրանսիայի, Ճապոնիայի և այլ երկրների հեղինակավոր բեմերում է ներկայացել անվանի արտիստը: Նա նկարահանվել է մի շարք ֆիլմերում՝ «Նռան գույնը» (1969թ.), «Հայկական որմնանկարներ» (1972թ.) և այլն: Գալստյանն աշխատել է Մոնտեվիդեոի «Տեատրու Սոլիսում»՝ որպես գլխավոր բալետմայստեր, դասավանդել Սեուլի բալետի համալսարանում: Երևանում ղեկավարել է Պարարվեստի պետական ուսումնարանը, տարբեր տարիներին եղել է Երևանի օպերային և բալետի թատրոնի գլխավոր բալետմայստերը: Ավելի քան 15 տարի է Վ. Գալստյանը դասավանդում է Երևանի թատրոնի և կինոյի պետական ինստիտուտում:
