 Թուրքիան չի բացառում Սիրիայում ցամաքային ռազմական գործողություններին իր մասնակցության հնարավորությունը, եթե դրանք սկսի այդ երկրում անցկացնել Սաուդյան Արաբիան:

Այս մասին, ինչպես հաղորդում է Արմենպրեսը` վկայակոչելով թուրքական «Ենի Շաֆաք» թերթը, հայտարարել է Թուրքիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մեւլութ Չավուշօղլուն:

Սաուդյան Արաբիան մի քանի օր առաջ հանդես էր եկել Բաշար Ասադի վարչակարգի դեմ ռազմական գործողություններ անցկացնելու համար Սիրիա ցամաքային զորքեր ուղարկելու պատրաստակամության մասին:

Չավուշօղլուն հայտնել է, որ Սաուդյան Արաբիան արդեն թուրքական ռազմաօդային «Ինջիռլիք» բազա է ուղարկում իր ինքնաթիռները, բացի այդ, սպասվում է, որ Էր Ռիյադը Թուրքիա կուղարկի նաեւ իր զինծառայողներին:

Թուրքական «Սաբահ» թերթն ավելի վաղ, հղում կատարելով ռազմական աղբյուրներին, գրել էր, որ Թուրքիան չի ծրագրում ռազմական արշավ անցկացնել Սիրիայում` նշելով, որ լուրերն այն մասին, թե Թուրքիան իբր ռազմական գործողություններ է ծրագրում Սիրիայում, չի համապատասխանում իրականությանը:

Ռուսաստանյան ԶԼՄ-ներն օրերս հայտնել էին, որ Թուրքիան ռազմական գործողություններ է նախապատրաստում Սիրիայում եւ դրա համար ռազմական տեխնիկա է կենտրոնացնում այդ երկրի հետ սահմանում:

Ըստ թուրքական ԶԼՄ-ների` Թուրքիայի արտգործնախարարը Մյունխենի միջազգային անվտանգության համաժողովում հայտարարել է, որ իր երկիրը շարունակելու է փախստականների հետ կապված բաց դռների քաղաքականությունը:
