Պետական Էրմիտաժը՝ աշխարհի մյուս առաջատար թանգարանների հետ միասին, ապրիլի վերջին Եմենի օր կանցկացնի՝ հիշեցնելու այդ երկրի մշակութային հուշարձանների կարեւորության մասին, որոնք ավերվում են զինված հակամարտության հետեւանքով:

Այդ մասին ՏԱՍՍ-ին տված հարցազրույցում հայտնել Է թանգարանի գլխավոր տնօրեն Միխայիլ Պիոտրովսկին:

«Եմենը հնագույն քաղաքակրթություն ունեցող երկիր Է, եւ այնտեղ քաղաքացիական պատերազմ Է ընթանում: Այնտեղ գաղափարախոսական նկատառումներով ոչնչացվում են Հադրամաութի հովտի մուսուլմանական դամբարանները, որտեղ ժամանակին աշխատել Է մեր արշավախումբը, եւ ռմբակոծում են՝ չխնայելով հուշարձանները. ոչնչացվել են մի քանի հնագույն հուշարձաններ, խիստ վնասված Է Մարիբյան պատմական ամբարտակը, Բարաքիշի տաճարը, բազմաթիվ այլ հուշարձաններ: Մենք ապրիլի վերջին պատրաստվում ենք աշխարհի 15-20 թանգարաններում Եմենի օր անցկացնել ցուցահանդեսներով, կինոցուցադրո ւմներով, դասախոսություններով, պատմություններով»,-ասել Է Էրմիտաժի ղեկավարը:    

Պիոտրովսկին պարզաբանել Է, որ «դա թանգարանների միջազգային նախաձեռնությունն Է, դրան մասնակցում են Բրիտանական թանգարանը, Մոսկվայի Արեւելքի թանգարանը, Լուվրը, Մետրոպոլիտենը»: Այդ ակցիայի նպատակն Է՝ համաշխարհային հասարակայնության ուշադրությունը կենտրոնացնել Եմենի ժառանգության վրա, այն բանի վրա, թե որքան կարեւոր Է այն ապագա սերունդների համար պահպանելը:
