Արդեն հայտնել էինք, որ ԱԺ-ում տեղի ունեցած քվերակության արդյունքների համաձայն` ձայների մեծամասնությամբ Մարդու իրավունքների նոր պատպան է ընտրվել արդարադատության փոխնախարար Արման Թաթոյանը:

ԱԺ-ում ՄԻՊ ընտրության հարցի քննարկման ժամանակ ելույթ ունեցավ նաև ԱԺ ՀՅԴ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Արծվիկ Մինասյանը:

Իր խոսքում նա նշեց. «ՀՅԴ խմբակցությունը համակարգային է դիտարկում ՄԻՊ ընտրության հարցը եւ ելնում է մի քանի հիմնական հաստատումներից: Սահմանադրական կարգավորումներին համձայն, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությունը հանրային բոլոր մակարդակների մարմինների պարտականությունն է, այն չի կարող դիտվել միայն մեկ մարմնի եւ մեկ անձի պաշտպանության ներքո, այլ պետք է լինի թե՛ գործադիր, թե՛ դատական, թե՛ օրենսդիր մարմինների, պետական եւ տեղական մարմինների կողմից, քաղաքական կուսակցությունների ու ՀԿ-ների կողմից, եւ բոլոր այդ մամինները մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության ազգային համակարգի տարրերն են: Եթե այստեղից բարձրաձայնվում է մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության մասին, ապա դա պետք է վերաբերի հավասարապես բոլորին, այլ ոչ` ընտրողաբար եւ միայն մեկ ինստիտուտի»,- ասաց Արծվիկ Մինասյանը:

Արծվիկ Մինասյանի խոսքով՝ սահմանադրական փոփոխություններով է ամրագրված, որ հստակ «գործառույթ-ինստիտուտ-պատասխանատվություն» համակարգը պետք է գործի լիարժեքորեն: Պատգամավորը նաեւ հավելեց, որ Արման Թաթոյանի հետ ՀՅԴ խմբակցությունում եղել է հանդիպում: «Հանդիպման ընթացքում խմբակցության ներկայացուցիչների հիմնական մտահոգությունը փարատվել է, քանի որ հայեցակարգային պատկերացումներով թեկնածուն լիարժեք տեղավորվում է ՀՅԴ մոտեցումների մեջ: Ձեր գնահատականը, պարոն Թաթոյան, լինելու է ոչ թե ինչքան շատ բողոքողներ կան, այլ` որքան եք կանխել խախտումները մարդու իրավունքների բնագավառում»,- ասաց Արծվիկ Մինասյանը՝ հավելելով, որ ՀՅԴ-ն կողմ է քվեարկելու Թաթոյանի թեկնածությանը:
