Չնայած փետրվարի 23-ը Հայաստանի անկախացումից հետո այլեւս չի նշվում որպես բանակի կամ հայրենիքի պաշտպանության օր, բայց մարդկանց մեջ եւ հատկապես ավագ սերունդի շրջանում այն շարունակվում է ընկալվել որպես տղամարդկանց տոն:

Տոնական օրվա կապակցությամբ Life.panorama.am-ը փորձեց հետաքրքրվել, թե ավագ սերնդի հայ արտիստներից ովքե՞ր են Խորհրդային միության տարիներին ծառայել եւ առհասարակ ի՞նչ հիշողություններ ունեն այս օրվա հետ կապված:

Շոումեն եւ երգիչ Սամվել Գրիգորյանը մեզ հետ զրույցում նկատեց, որ պարտադիր զինծառայություն չի անցել, փոխարենը այսօր նրա որդին ծառայում է Հայոց բանակում.

«Ցավոք սրտի, գուցե եւ բարեբախտաբար ես չեմ ծառայել: Ինչո՞ւ բարեբախտաբար, որովհետեւ խորհրդային տարիներին Հայաստանը անկախ պետություն չէր ու շատ մեծ երջանկություն չէր ծառայել խորհրդային բանակում: Ինչեւէ, այն տարիներին շատ մեծ շուքով էր այս օրը նշվում, ավելին ասեմ, այս տոնը մինչ օրս մեր տանը պահպանվում է: Փետրվարի 23-ը այս տարի ինձ համար առանձնահատուկ է, քանի որ որդիս այս պահին ծառայում է Հայոց բանակում, եւ չնայած փերվարի 23-ը խորհրդային տարիներին էր համարվում բանակի օր, միեւնույն է, այն ինձ համար շարունակվում է ասոցացվել եւ որդուս միջոցով հատկապես տպավորվել որպես բանակի օր:  Այս տարի մեր տանն այս տոնը նշվում է որդուս համար»,- պատմեց Սամվել Գրիգորյանը:
