ԱՄՆ-ում ուսումնամարական հավաքի շրջանակներում  «Արարատ»-ը վերջին հանդիպումն է անցկացրել: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայկական թիմի մրցակիցը Հարավային Կորեայի 7-ակի չեմպիոն, եռակի գավաթակիր, նախորդ առաջնությունում 4-րդ տեղը զբաղեցրած «Սոննամ» թիմն է եղել: Այս թիմը նաեւ Ասիայի Չեմպիոնների լիգայի կրկնակի հաղթողն է:

Հանդիպման առաջին խաղակեսի միջնամասում հաշիվը բացել է հարավկորեական թիմը, սակայն րոպեներ երեվանյան թիմը հավասարեցրել է խաղի հաշիվը: Պատասխան գոլը խփել է Էդվին Ռիվասը, ով արձագանքել է Բրայան դե լա Ֆուենտեի` եզրից կատարած սուր փոխանցմանը: Խաղակեսի վերջին րոպեին մրցակիցը կրկին կարողացել է առաջ անցնել հաշվի մեջ:

Երկրորդ խաղակեսն «Արարատ»-ը սկսել է գրոհներով և արդեն մեկնարկում խփել երկրորդ պատասխան գնդակը: Տուգանայինից` Մոյսես Օրոզկոյի փոխանցումից հետո գլխի հարվածով աչքի է ընկել Քրիստիան Չանեյը:

Այնուամենայնիվ, «Սոննամը» կարողացել է հաղթանակ կորզել: Նախ սեփական դարպասը գրավել է Նորայր Գրիգորյանը, ապա մրցակիցը խփել է  նաև չորրորդ գոլը:

Խաղավերջում Գևորգ Նռանյանը խփել է «Արարատ»-ի երրորդ գոլը՝ կրճատելով հաշվի տարբերությունը: Խաղն ավարտվել է 3:4 հաշվով:
