Այսօր ե՛ւ իշխանությունը, ե՛ւ ընդդիմությունը ծանր վիճակում են գտնվում: Orer.am-ի հետ զրույցի ժամանակ նման կարծիք հայտնեց «Քրիստոնեա-ժողովրդական վերածնունդ» կուսակցության նախագահ Սոս Գիմիշյանը:

«Նրանք խայտառակ թույլ եւ միեւնույն ժամանակ համարժեք վիճակում են գտնվում: Այսօրվա դրությամբ ո՛չ իշխանության ներկայացուցիչ լինելն է պատիվ բերում, ո՛չ էլ ընդդիմության:

Ես չգիտեմ՝ կարո՞ղ եմ ինձ նման ծանր վիճակում համարել ընդդիմության մաս, թե՞ ոչ: Մենք մեր նախաձեռնությունով ու «Հայք» ծրագրով փորձում ենք ինչ-որ յուրահատուկ ուղի ընտրել, այլ ոչ թե կռվել իշխանության հետ ու փորձել որակյալ դարձնել ընդդիմությունը, այլ նոր ճանապարհով պետք է գնանք: Հիմնական խնդիրը, որի առաջ այսօր կանգնած ենք, այն է, որ մեր իշխանությունը կառավարվում է դրսից՝ Վենետիկի հանձնաժողովի կողմից եւ կատարում է այն ամենը, ինչ թելադրվում է այնտեղից:

Ցավոք սրտի, այսօրվա ընդդիմության մեծ մասն արեւմտամետ է, ուստի նրանք եւս կառավարվում են նույն տեղից: Այս պայքարի մեջ որեւէ արդյունք հօգուտ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ես չեմ ակնկալում: Եթե այդ խաղերը մեր երկրին ու ժոովրդին օգուտ չեն տալու, ապա գնահատականներ հնչեցնելը ճիշտ չի լինի, քանի որ որեւէ լավ բան չեմ ակնկալում»,- ասաց նա:

Շրջանառվող այն տեսակետի վերաբերյալ, թե հնարավոր է, որ ընդդիմության ներկայացուցիչները միավորվեն ու հանդես գան համատեղ, ինչպես արեց ՀԱԿ-ը, ընդդիմադիր գործիչն ասաց. «Երբ ՀԱԿ-ը կուսակցությունների միավորում էր, այդտեղ տարբեր կարգի ուժեր կային եւ քիչ չէին մարդիկ, որոնք հայաստանամետ էին ու որեւէ մեկի կողմից չէին կառավարվում, դա բավական առողջ կառույց էր:

Այսօր որեւէ քաղաքական ուժի հետ ժողովուրդը հույս չի կապում, որովհետեւ, ցավոք, բոլորն անորակ գտնվեցին, ես ինձանից եմ սկսում, քանի որ ժողովուրդն ազգովի կանգնեց, իսկ մենք որեւէ արդյունքի չկարողացանք հասնել: Եթե հստակ ու ճիշտ գործեինք, մեր ժողովուրդն այժմ այլ երկիր կունենար, բայց հիմա ստրկացած վիճակում ենք նոր Սահմանադրությամբ:

Մեր ժողովրդի վզին փաթաթեցին այդ խայտառակ փաստաթուղթը, որն էլ ուզում են կյանքի կոչել: Շուտով մեր իշխանությունները Վենետիկի հանձնաժողովի հետ կկազմակերպեն լեսբուհիների, գեյերի երթեր, հետո կգնան դեպի միասեռականների ընտանիք եւ այդպես շարունակ»:
