Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավոր Վարդան Օսկանյանը չի բացառում, որ իր կողմից ստեղծվելիք կուսակցությանը կանդամակցեն իր գործընկեր պատգամավորներ: Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում Վարդան Օսկանյանը, սակայն, անուններ չնշեց: «Ես հիմա չեմ ցանկանում անուններ նշել, թե ովքեր կարող են անդմամակցել այդ կուսակցությանը, սակայն չեմ բացառում, որ կարող են միանալ իմ գործընկեր պատգամավորներ: Դեռևս հայտնի չէ նաև կո ւսակցության անունը, սակայն խոստանում եմ, որ շուտով կիմանաք»,Արմենպրես-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Օսկանյանը:

Վարդան Օսկանյանը հերքեց խոսակցություններն այն մասին, թե ստեղծվելիք կուսակցության հետ անմիջական կապ ունի ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը: «Քոչարյանը բացարձակ կապ չունի այդ կուսակցության հետ: Դիտարկմանը, թե ինքը Քոչարյանի կառավարման տարիներին է իշխանության մաս կազմել, և այդ թվերին հայտնի է՝ ինչ վիճակում է գտնվել Հայաստանը, ինքը ի՞նչ ռեսուրսով է պատրաստվում ժողովրդին քվեն ստանալ, Օսկանյանն ասաց․ «Վարդան Օսկանյանի ռեսուրսով, կսուսակցության ծրագրով, մեր անելիքներով, երկրի նկատմամբ մեր տեսլականով։ Երեկ ես հստակորեն ասել եմ՝ Քոչարյանն այս կուսակցության հետ կապ չունի, բայց նորից եմ կրկնում՝ ես ինձ չեմ դնելու այն վիճակի մեջ, որ անընդհատ ինչ-որ ինձ տարանջատեմ Քոչարյանից, ես այդպիսի խնդիր չունեմ»։

Նա հավելեց, որ Քոչարյանի ժամանակվա իշխանությունն, իհարկե, շատ թերություններ է ունեցել տարբեր ոլորտերում, բայց այդ իշխանությունը նաև մեծ հաջողություններ է ունեցել: «Ես կարծում եմ, որ դա այն ժամանակշրջանն է, որ շատ հարցերում ժողովուրդը դրականորեն է հիշում»,- նշեց պատգամավորը։

 «Քոչարյանի անունը կօգնի՞, թե կխանգարի իրեն այս գործում» հարցին ի պատասխան Վարդան Օսկանյանն ասաց․ «Գիտեք, չեմ ուզում ինչ-որ կշեռքի վրա դնեմ և վերլուծեմ՝ կօգնի, թե կխանգարի։ Կուսակցությունը կլինի, կաշխատենք»։

Վարդան Օսկանյանը վստահեցրեց, որ պատրաստ կլինի համագործակցել բոլոր քաղաքական ուժերի՝ այդ թվում՝ ԲՀԿ-ի ու ՀՍԿ-ի հետ:
