Բրիտանական The Daily Mail պարբերականը հրապարակել է հուզիչ տեսանյութ, որի գլխավոր հերոսները նորարարական իմպլանտի շնորհիվ լսողությունը վերականգնած աղջիկն է ու նրան անակնկալ կերպով ամուսնության առաջարկ արած երիտասարդը:

Իմպլանտի տեղադրումից հետո բժիշկը մեղմ ու հանգիստ ձայնով դիմում է տարիներ շարունակ խուլ եղած աղջկան` ասելով. «Դու լսո՞ւմ ես»:

Չկարողանալով զսպել հուզմունքը` աղջիկը ձեռքերով փակում է երեսն ու սկսում արտասվել: Սակայն այն, ինչ պատահում է վայրկյաններ անց, է՛լ ավելի հուզիչ է:

Առաջին անգամ լսողությունը վերականգնած աղջկան մոտենում է նրա սիրելին ու ամուսնության առաջարկ անում` նվիրելով ադամանդյա մատանի:

«Ես այնքան էի ուզում, որ լսողությունդ վերականգնելուց հետո քո լսած առաջին բանը լիներ այս` փոքրի՛կս, դու կամուսնանա՞ս ինձ հետ: Ես քեզ այնքան շատ եմ սիրում»,-ասել է երիտասարդը` ծնկի գալով սիրելիի առաջ:
