Հայաստանի արտգործնախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը Նյու Յորքում սեպտեմբերի 23-ին հանդիպում է ունեցել Իրանի արտգործնախարար Մոհամադ Ջավադ Զարիֆի հետ։ Հայաստանի և Իրանի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչությունների ղեկավարները բարձր են գնահատել երկու հարևան երկրների միջև գոյություն ունեցող բարեկամական հարաբերությունները և կարևորել համատեղ ծրագրերի իրականացումն ու համագործակցության ընդլայնումը: Անդրադարձ է կատարվեցլ առաջիկայում կայանալիք փոխայցելություններին, ինչպես նաև Թեհրանում նախատեսված հայ-իրանական միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի 12-րդ նիստի նախապատրաստական աշխատանքներին։ Նախարարներ Նալբանդյանն ու Զարիֆը քննարկել են Իրանի միջուկային ծրագրի շուրջ բանակցային գործընթացի վերջին զարգացումները։ Մտքեր են փոխանակվել մի շարք միջազգային և տարածաշրջանային խնդիրների շուրջ։ Հայաստանի արտգործնախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանի հաջորդ հանդիպումը Ռումինիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Տիտուս Կորլացեանի հետ է եղել: Զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են հայ-ռումինական հարաբերությունների օրակարգային հարցերին: Նախարարները մտքեր են փոխանակել երկու երկրների միջև իրավապայմանագրային դաշտի ընդլայնման, առևտրատնտեսական կապերի զարգացման, միջխորհրդարանական և ապակենտրոնացված համագործակցության խորացման վերաբերյալ։ Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանն ու Տիտուս Կորլացեանը կարևորել են երկու երկրների արտաքին գերատեսչությունների միջև պարբերական քաղաքական խորհրդատվությունների անցկացումը և փոխգործակցության ակտիվացումը միջազգային կազմակերպությունների շրջանակներում։ Անդրադարձ է կատարվել Հայաստան - Եվրոպական միություն հարաբերություններին։ Ռումինիայի արտաքին գերատեսչության ղեկավարի խնդրանքով նախարար Նալբանդյանը ներկայացրել է Հայաստանի և ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ երկրների համատեղ ջանքերը' ուղղված Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորմանը։ Նույն օրը նախարար Նալբանդյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել Կոսովոյի նախագահ Աթիֆեթե Յահյագայի հետ։ Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը նշել է, որ թեև Հայաստանը չի ճանաչել Կոսովոն, սակայն նման կարգի հանդիպումներն օգտակար են մտքերի փոխանակման համար: Նախագահ Յահյագան ներկայացրել է Կոսովոյի հարևան երկրների հետ հարաբերությունները: Զրուցակիցները մտքեր են փոխանակել միջազգային գերակա մի շարք խնդիրների վերաբերյալ:
