ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի փոխնախարար Շավարշ Քոչարյանն անդրադարձել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի դիրքորոշմանը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի և Ադրբեջանի շփման գծում զինադադարի ռեժիմի ամրապնդման հարցում։

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, պատասխանելով tert.am-ի հարցին՝ «ինչպե՞ս կմեկնաբանեք, որ Ադրբեջանի նախագահը տարօրինակ է համարում հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի և Ադրբեջանի շփման գծում զինադադարի ռեժիմի ամրապնդումը», Շավարշ Քոչարյանը պատասխանել է.

«Առավել քան տարօրինակ է այն, որ երկրի ղեկավարը բացահայտորեն դեմ է արտահայտվում այնպիսի միջոցառումների իրականացմանը, որոնք ուղղված են մարդկային կյանքեր փրկելուն:

Ավելին, հաշվի առնելով, որ 1995թ. կնքված եռակողմ՝ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ, Ադրբեջան և Հայաստան, համաձայնագրով զինադադարի ռեժիմի ամրապնդումը Ադրբեջանի նաև միջազգային պարտավորությունն է, այդ հայտարարությունը դառնում է զավեշտական:

Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարությունը բոլորին մեղադրում է ստատուս քվոյի պահպանման մեջ, այնինչ, հենց ինքն անում է ամեն ինչ, այդ թվում՝ գործելով իր իսկ ստանձնած պարտավորություններին հակառակ, ստատուս քվոն պահպանելու համար:

Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարի տարօրինա կ և ագրեսիվ ոճը հասցեագրված է առաջին հերթին սեփական ժողովրդի դեմ, որովհետև գնալով անհնարին է դառնում սահմաններին լարվածության սրմամբ և արտաքին վտանգի շահարկմամբ հասարակության ուշադրության շեղումը և ժառանգական աթոռի պահպանումը»:
