Турецкое издательство «Илетишим» в седьмой раз переиздало книгу «Армянский вопрос решен», автором которой является известный турецкий геноцидовед, профессор Танер Акчам. Об этом сообщает Akunq.net.

Согласно источнику, партия «Единения и прогресса» в ответ на повсеместное чувство недовольства сразу после окончания Балканских войн очистила земли Анатолии от немусульманских элементов и отуречила их. Одной из важнейших вех этой политики стала Первая мировая война.

Она создала удобную атмосферу для высылки и насильственной депортации этнических элементов. Широкомасштабная «депортация», примененная по отношению к армянам в 1915 году, стала последним этапом отуречивания.

Танер Акчам, который провел исследования на основе документов Османской империи, концентрирует внимание на вопросе, о чем рассказывают по данному поводу первоисточники. Автор представляет происшедшие в то время случаи, которые совершались по указу Талеата Паши, и которые были под постоянным его контролем. Автор также дает ответ на вопрос, почему армян «депортировали» в разные районы Анатолии.
