Ադրբեջանը, ձեռնարկած լայնածավալ սադրիչ գործողություններով, իր նպատակին չի հասել: Այս մասին«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց, Ռուսաստանի «Ռազմավարականմշակույթի հիմնադրամ»-ի փորձագետ,քաղաքագետ Անդրեյ Արեշևը: «Կարող ենք վստահ լինել, որ հայկական կողմը համարժեք պատասխան կտա ադրբեջանական սադրիչ գործողություններին: Իհարկե, համոզված եմ, որ դժվար թե կարողացած լինեն հանկարծակիի բերել Հայաստանի և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի զինված ուժերին: Մենք հավատում ենք, որ նրանք, ովքեր դիմել են լայնամասշտաբ սադրիչ գործողությունների, իրենց նպատակին չեն հասել»,-ասաց Անդրեյ Արեշևը:

Ինչ վերաբերում է հարցի տարածաշրջանային ու միջազգային մակարդակով դիտարկմանը, ապա Անդրեյ Արեշևը նշեց, որ ժամանակը ցույց կտա, թե ովքեր են իրական մեղավորներն ու այս սադրանքի ոգեշնչողները:

«Նրանք կարող են լինել ոչ միայն Բաքվում, այլև Ադրբեջանի սահմաններց հեռու: Այս համատեքստում կցականայի ուշադրություն հրավիրել այն հանգամանքի վրա, որ այս օրերին Վաշինգտոնում տեղի է ունենում Միջուկային անվտանգության հարցերով գագաթնաժողովը, որի շրջանակում ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերին հանդիպել է նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հետ»,-ասաց քաղաքագետը:

Ըստ նրա՝ ակնհայտ է, որ Ռուսաստանին ձեռնտու չէ Հարավային Կովկասում իրավիճակի սրումը: «ՌԴ-ի բոլոր դիվանագիտական ջանքերն ուղղված են եղել Հարավային Կովկասում հնարավոր ագրեսիվ գործողությունների զսպմանը: Բազմաթիվ փորձագետեր, այդ թվում՝ ես, նշում էին, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում լայնամասշտաբ սադրիչ գործողությունները Ռուսաստանի դիվանագիտության առաջ բարդ հարցեր են դնում:

Հարցին, թե հնարավո՞ր է, որ Թուրքիայի միջամտությամբ Ադրբեջանը նման քայլի գնար, ռուս փորձագետը չբացառեց. «Ընդհանրապես Հավարային Կովկասում առկա լարվածության մեջ Թուրքիայի գործոնը երևում է: Իհարկե, Ադրբեջանի հետ Թուրքիայի դիվանագիտական կապերը հայտնի են, և ես կարծում եմ, որ առաջիկայում զարգացումները ցույց կտան Ղարաբաղի շուրջ իրավիճակի սրման գործում  Թուրքիայի հնարավոր դերակատարությունը, եթե, իհարկե, նման դերակատարում գոյություն ունի: Ամեն դեպքում թուրք-ադրբեջանական հարաբերությունները հաշվի առնելով, մենք դա կարող ենք ենթադրել» ,-հավելեց քաղաքագետը:
