ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը գտնում է, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման քաղաքական բանակցությունները պետք է շարունակվեն ցանկացած պարագայում:

«Ցանկացած պայմաններում, նույնիսկ ամենաթեժ մարտական գործողությունների ժամանակ քաղաքական բանակցությունները միշտ պետք է շարունակական լինեն: Եթե ձեզ թվում է, թե մենք այսօր կարող ենք թույլ կողմից ներկայանալ, ապա սխալվում եք, որովհետև առկա պայմաննե րում Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարությունը՝ ԼՂՀ պաշտպանության բանակի հետ գտնվելով լայնածավալ ռազմական գործողությունների մեջ, ոչ մի հաջողության չի հասել»,- լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ընդգծեց Օհանյանը:

Նա հավելեց, որ հակառակորդը հուժկու հակահարված է ստացել: «Նրանց կորուստները շատ են: 10-ից ավելի անգամ կորուստներ ունեն նրանք: Հավանաբար, կրակի դադարեցման նախաձեռնող կողմերից մեկն էլ իրենք են եղել՝ այդ պայմաններում այլ որոշում կայացնելու համար: Օպերատիվ նախաձեռնությունը պաշտպանության բանակի ձեռքերում է»,- ընդգծեց Օհանյանը:

Նախարարը նշեց, որ հրադադարը կարող է խաղաղության պահպանման ամուր երաշխիք լինել միայն այն պարագայում, երբ Ադրբեջանը հստակ ասի, որ գնում է վստահության մեխանիզմների ձևավորման ճանապարհով ու պատրաստ է միջազգային հետաքննության անցկացմանը՝ հրադադարը խախտող կողմին պատասխանատվության ենթարկելու համար:
