Ապրիլի 9-ին Լաս Վեգասում պրոֆեսիոնալ բռնցքամարտիկ Արթուր Աբրահամին կդիմակայի 24-ամյա Ջիլբերտո Ռամիրես Սանչեսը: 

Գերմիջին քաշային կարգում WBO վարկածով աշխարհի չեմպիոն, պրոֆեսիոնալ հայ բռնցքամարտիկը 4-րդ անգամ կմենամարտի ԱՄՆ-ում՝ փորձելով 6-րդ անգամ պաշտպանել չեմպիոնական գոտին: Աբրահամի՝ ԱՄՆ-ում կայացած նախորդ երեք մենամարտերից երկուսն ավարտվել են հայ բռնցքամարտիկի պարտությամբ:

Նևադա նահանգի Լաս Վեգաս քաղաքի հեղինակավոր «MGM Grand» մարզապալատում սպասվող մենամարտին կհաջորդի նաև մեկ այլ խոշոր իրադարձություն. ռինգ դուրս կգա ֆիլիպինցի Մեննի Պաքիայոն, ում կդիմակայի Թիմ Բրեդլին: Խոսելով Պաքիայոյի մենամարտի մասին՝ Աբրահամը նշել է, թե ինքը ուրախ է, որ Արբահամ-Ռամիրես մենամարտը նախորդում է ֆիլիպինցու մենամարտին:

Աբրահամը խոսել նաև մենամարտի վայրի մասին՝ նշելով, որ ինքն այդ մարզապալատում կայացած բազմաթիվ մենամարտերի ականատես է եղել. «Հիշում եմ Մայք Թայսոնի մարտերը: Հիշում եմ նաև Ջուլիո Սեզար Չավեսի մարտերը: Իսկապես շատ մարտեր եմ տեսել: Իհարկե, նաև Ֆլոյդ Մեյվեզերի մարտերն եմ տեսել: Նա լավագույններից լավագույնն է: Նա իսկապես ցույց է տվել, թե ինչերի կարելի է հասնել բռնցքամարտի շնորհիվ»:

Վերջին անգամ 2015 թ.-ի նոյեմբերին մենամարտ անցկացրած (միավորներով հաղթանակ է գրանցվել անգլիացի Մարտին Մարեյի դեմ մարտում), 44 հաղթանակների 29-ը մրցակցին նոքաուտով հաղթած Աբրահամը ԱՄՆ-ում նախորդիվ մենամարտել է 2011 թ.-ի մայիսին՝ Կալիֆոռնիայում պարտվելով Անդրե Ուորդին: Առայժմ անպարտելի Ռամիրեսը (33 հաղթանակից 24-ը եղել են նոքաուտով) ԱՄՆ-ում մենամարտերի առավել մեծ փորձ ունի:
