Կաթոիկոսի ուղերձում ասվում է.

«Սուրբ Աստվածածնի Ավետման տոնի առիթով Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնից Հայրապետական Մեր օրհնությունն ենք բերում համայն մեր ժողովրդին և շնորհավորում բոլոր տիկնանց և օրիորդաց մայրության ու գեղեցկության օրվա կապակցությամբ:

Այս օրերին, երբ Արցախի սահմաններում սանձազերծված ռազմական գործողությունների հետևանքով խաթարված է մեր կյանքի խաղաղությունը, մեր սուրբ տաճարներում առանձնակի ջերմեռանդությամբ է հնչում մեր հայրերի` Տիրամորն ուղղված բարեխոսական աղոթքը, որպեսզի «լռեն պատերազմները, դադարեն թշնամու հարձակումները, և երկրի վրա հաստատվեն սերն ու արդարությունը» (Ժամագիրք):

Դարեր ի վեր մեր մայրերի խնամքի ու սիրասուն հայացքի ներքո են դաստիարակվել ազնվասիրտ մեր զավակները՝ գիտնականն ու մանկավարժը, զինվորն ու զորականը, հոգևորականն ու շինականը, որոնք շենացրել են մեր hայրենիքը, խաղաղ պահել մեր երկրի սահմանները և պաշտպանել ազատ ապրելու աստվածաշնորհ մեր իրավունքը:

Հայրենիքի առաջ ծառացած պատերազմի վտանգն այսօր առավել ուժականություն է հաղորդում քաջարի հայ զինվոր կերտելու մեր մայրերի առաքելությանը և նորովի բացահայտում նրանց՝ դժվարությանց առաջ չընկրկելու խիզախությունն ու ոգին:

Միածնաէջ Սուրբ խորանի առջև աղոթք ենք բարձրացնում առ Աստված, որ Տերը խաղաղություն շնորհի հայրենի մեր երկրին ու ժողովրդին և Սուրբ Աստվածածնի բարեխոսությամբ երջանկություն ու քաջառողջ կյանքի արևշատ տարիներ պարգևի մեր մայրերին ու քույրերին»:
