Karabakh army: Azerbaijan defense minister statement is pinnacle of cynicism
PoliticsSTEPANAKERT. – Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov’s remarks—which he made during a talk with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group Co-Chairs—that, unlike the adversary, they do not fight with women and children, can be considered the pinnacle of cynicism, especially if we look at the pictures of the Azerbaijani atrocities in Talish village, in Martakert Region of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh).
Press service of the NKR Defense Army noted the aforesaid in a statement.
“In the photograph (…) are Talish village elderly Valera and Razmela Khalapyan, whom the soldiers of the ‘powerful [Azerbaijani] army,’ led by Azerbaijan’s ‘humanist’ [defense] minister Hasanov, barbarically shot [and] killed, and then cut off their ears with a wild mania,” the statement also reads, in particular. “After all this, we would ask the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to judge from the facts as to who ‘fights with the women and children,’ and what qualities of honesty (…) Hasanov is endowed with.”
On April 2, the Azerbaijanis had shot and killed Valera Khalapyan and his wife Razmela in Talish village, and, subsequently, they cut off their ears. Also, they shot and killed Marusya Khalapyan, who was born in 1924.
