Лора Скантлинг (Lora Scantling) живет в небольшом городке Юкон, который находится в американском штате Оклахома. Она профессионально занимается фотографией и владеет собственной студией. Особо хорошо женщине удаются семейные портреты, а также фотографии детей.

Настоящую известность Лоре принесло фото, сделанное в 2014 году. На этом снимке запечатлены три девочки: 8-летняя Рианн Франклин (Rheann Franklin), Эйнсли Питерс (Ainsley Peters) и 5-летняя Райли Хьюи (Rylie Hughey). Этих девочек связывала тогда общая трагедия: все они были больны раком.

Лоре в полной мере удалось передать весь трагизм ситуации. Неудивительно, что настолько трогательный снимок растопил сердца миллионов людей. Фотография разлетелась по социальным сетям, став настоящим хитом Интернета.

Любой другой фотограф тешился бы славой и забыл о трех больных малышках. Но для Лоры девочки стали почти родными. Женщина переживала за их здоровье и часто навещала малышек в госпитале. И вот к своей неописуемой радости Лора узнала, что все трое сумели победить страшную болезнь!

Чтобы отметить это радостное событие, Лора запечатлела девочек в своей новой работе. Радостные Рианн, Эйнсли и Райли позируют рядом со своей фотографией двухлетней давности. На новом снимке девочек просто не узнать: они прямо светятся изнутри, излучая всепобеждающий оптимизм!
