Kerry arrives in Iraq on unannounced visit
International newsUS Secretary of State John Kerry made an unannounced visit to Iraq to express support for the Prime Minister of the country against the backdrop of the political crisis, Gazeta reported quoting Reuters.
The State Department Spokesperson said that the Secretary of State will assure of U.S. strong support for the government of Iraq at the moment when it is facing considerable calls in the sphere of economy, safety and politics.
It is noted that Kerry will also discuss actions against militants of the Islamic State terrorist group.
