Putin discussed situation in Karabakh with Nazarbayev

Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, during which they discussed the Russian mediatory steps in the settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh, RIA Novosti reported.
The exchange of opinions on the events around Nagorno-Karabakh taking into account telephone contacts with leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia is continued. Vladimir Putin informed about the mediation undertaken by the Russian side, including contacts of the Russian PM, the foreign and defense ministries, the report says.
Besides, the sides discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation.
