Հայաստանի կողմից Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ճանաչումն աշխարհի վերջը չի լինի: Լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ապրիլի 8-ին այս մասին նշեց «Եվրոպական ինտեգրացիա» ՀԿ նախագահ, ԱԺ պատգամավոր Կարեն Բեքարյանը:

«ՀՀ նախագահն առաջին անգամ չէ, որ հնչեցնում Հայաստանի կողմից ԼՂՀ-ն ճանաչելու հնարավորության վերաբերյալ կետը: Ես ինքս հակված չեմ այն կարծիքին, որ ԼՂՀ-ն ճանաչելն աշխարհի վերջն է կամ չի տալիս որևէ հնարավորություն հետագա քայլերի համար: Համաձայն չեմ այն տեսակետի հետ, որ դա պետք է դառնա այն աղետը, որով մենք ձեռնոց ենք նետում համանախագահներին:

Կա գործընթացի զարգացման տրամաբանություն: Քաղաքականությունը չի սիրում մեծ, թռիչքաձև քայլեր: Այն սիրում է ավելի սահուն, ընթացքում ընկալելի դարձած, որպես փաստ իրականացած գործողությունների շղթա: Հետ ևաբար, դեպի անկախության ճանաչում թռիչքն իր արանքում ունի միջանկյալ քայլ»,- նշեց Կարեն Բեքարյանը:

Բեքարյանի համոզմամբ` այդ քայլը ՀՀ-ԼՂՀ ռազմական փոխօգնության պայմանագիրն է: «Դրանից հետո եթե կարիք լինի հաջորդ քայլը անել, օրակարգում կդրվի հաջորդ քայլը»,-նշեց նա:

ՀՀ ԱԺ պատգամավորը հորդորում է ծայրահեղությունների մեջ չընկնել: Միևնույն ժամանակ Կարեն Բեքարյանը փաստում է, որ ԼՂՀ ճանաչման հարցն օրակարգում է լինելու` սպասելով պատեհ պահի:
