Իսրայելը վերջին 10 տարիների ընթացքում զենք է վաճառում Ադրբեջանին և շարունակելու է նման ամոթալի գործունեություն իրականացնել:

Նման կարծիք լրագրողների հետ զրույցում Հայաստանի ամերիկյան համալսարանում կազմակերպված «Ցեղասպանություն և գրականություն. իսրայելական և հայկական համեմատական հեռանկարները» թեմայով գիտաժողովին հայտնեց իսրայելացի գիտնական, պատմաբան Յահիր Աուրոնը:

«Իսրայելը վերջին 10 տարիների ընթացքում զենք է վաճառում Ադրբեջանին: Ես կարծում եմ, որ դա ամոթալի է: Ես փորձել եմ ազդել դրա վրա, բայց ցավոք, ինձ չի հաջողվել: Ես գրել եմ հոդվածներ այդ մասին, եղել եմ Արցախում և մեծ հոդված գրել»,- նշեց Յահիր Աուրոնը:

Պատմաբանի խոսքով` իր երկրի քաղաքացիական հասարակությունը հայերի հետ է: Նա հավատում է, որ Իսրայելի Կնեսեթը մի օր կճանաչի Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, և դա մեկ քայլ առաջ կլինի:

«Հրեաներն առաջիններից պետք է լինեն հայերի կողքին, սակայն, ցավոք, մենք մերժողներից ենք: Մերժելով Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը մենք դավաճանում ենք Հոլոքոստի զոհերին և նրանց հիշատակը»,-նշեց ճանաչված պատմաբանը:

Երուսաղեմի համալսարանի հոլոքոստագիտության ավագ դասախոս Ամոս Գոլդբերգն էլ խոստովանեց, որ ամաչում է այն փաստի համար, որ Իսրայելը զենքը է վաճառում Ադրբեջանին: «Իսրայելը նմանատիպ կոնֆլիկտներում օգնում է սխալ կողի: Մեր մտավորականներից Յաիր Աուրոնն այն մարդկանցից է, որ Իսրայելում հասարակությանը տեղեկացրեց այս խնդրի մասին: Իսրայելը բացի բարոյական նկատառումներից ունի շահեր»,-նշեց Ամոս Գոլդբերգը:
