ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը, որի կազմում է ՀՀ ԱԺ պատգամավոր, ԱԺ Հայաստան-Լեհաստան բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավար Հովհաննես Սահակյանը, ապրիլի 14-ին Պոզնան քաղաքում հանդիպել է Լեհաստանի Հանրապետության Սեյմի փոխնախագահ Ռիչարդ Տերլեցկու հետ: Ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ Սեյմի փոխնախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել հայկական պատվիրակությանը Լեհաստանում քրիստոնեության ընդունման 1050-ամյակին նվիրված միջոցառումներին մասնակցելու համար: Պարոն Տերլեցկին բարձր է գնահատել լեհ-հայկական բարեկամությունը եւ հույս հայտնել, որ այն շարունակական զարգացում կունենա: Սեյմի փոխնախագահը նաեւ տեղեկացրել է, որ արդեն սկսվել են Լեհաստան-Հայաստան խորհրդարանական բարեկամական խմբի ստեղծման աշխատանքները, եւ արդյունքը շուտով տեսանելի կլինի: ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել լեհ գործընկերոջը ջերմ ընդունելության համար: Խոսելով քրիստոնեական արժեհամակարգի մասին՝ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը փաստել է, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը դրա ջատագովն է, եւ այդ արժեքների պահպանումն ու ամրապնդումն այլընտրանք չունի: Այս համատեքստում ՀՀ խորհրդարանի փոխնախագահը լեհ գործընկերոջը մանրամասն ներկայացրել է Ադրբեջանի կողմից ապրիլի 1-ից սանձազերծված եւ չորս օր շարունակված ռազմական ագրեսիայի մանրամասները: Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը մասնավորապես նշել է, որ ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերի կողմից կատարված վայրագություններն ամբողջությամբ հիշեցնում են ԴԱԻՇ-ի գործելաոճը. մասնավորապես տեղի են ունեցել դիակների անդամահատումներ, գլխատումներ, ինչպես նաեւ քաղաքացիական անձանց սպանություններ իրենց տներում: Դպրոցների ուղղությամբ արձակված կրակահերթերը նաեւ երեխայի կյանք են խլել: ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահը հիշեցրել է Սեյմի փոխնախագահին նաեւ պաշտոնական Ադրբեջանի կողմից ոչնչացված հազարավոր խաչքարերի մասին: Խոսելով հայ եւ լեհ ժողովուրդների բարեկամության մասին՝ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը մասնավորապես նշել է, որ այդ բարեկամությունն ու համագործակցությունը դարերի պատմություն ունեն եւ լավ հիմք են ստեղծում երկու երկրների միջպետական հարաբերությունների համապարփակ զարգացման համար: ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահը վստահեցրել է, որ Հայաստանի խորհրդարանը մեծապես կարեւորում է հայ-լեհական համագործակցությունը ոչ միայն երկկողմ ձեւաչափով, այլեւ բազմակողմ: Այս համատեքստում Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը հատկապես ընդգծել է միջազգային խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովների շրջանակներում երկու բարեկամ երկրների խորհրդարանների ներկայացուցիչների միջեւ կառուցողական փոխգործակցության զարգացումը: Հանդիպման ավարտին Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը Սեյմի փոխնախագահին է փոխանցել ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերի կողմից իրականացված վայրագություններն ապացուցող բազմաթիվ նյութեր:
