Մայրն իր զավակի փրկության համար պատրաստ է զոհաբերել նույնիսկ սեփական կյանքը։ Մայրական սերն ու հոգատարությունը սահմաններ չունեն, եւ այս դեպքը դրա ապացույցն է։

Երիտասարդ բրիտանուհի Լոուրեն Հիֆը փրկել է իր 1 տարեկան դստերը՝ փոքրիկ Միլիին։ Բերքշիրում փողոցն անցնելիս նորաթուխ մայրիկը նկատել է մոտեցող բեռնատար մեքենան եւ առաջ հրելով Միլիի մանկասայլակը՝ դարձել է ողբերգական վթարի զոհ։ Երեխան աննշան եւ կյանքին չսպառնացող վնասվածքներ է ստացել, իսկ ահա Հիֆի, որն օրեր անց պատրաստվում էր տոնել դստեր 1-ամյակը, կյանքը փրկել չի ստացվել։

Մահացած բրիտանուհու հարազատները վստահեցնում են, որ Լոուրենն իսկապես շատ հոգատար մայրիկ էր փոքրիկի համար։ Նա այնքան էլ սիրում Միլիին, որ անգամ երեխայի անունն ու ծննդյան օրն էր դաջել սրտի մոտ.

«Մեր աղջիկն այնքան լավն էր, եւ հիանալի մայր էր Միլիի համար։ Միլին Լոուորենի կյանքն ու աշխարհն էր, եւ մենք հպարտ ենք, որ նույնիսկ կյանքի վերջին վայրկյաններին հասցրել է փրկել դստերը»,- ասել են ողբերգական դեպքի զոհ դարձած կնոջ հարազատները։

Ականատեսները պատմել են, որ «պատահարը շատ անսպասելի եւ մեկ ակնթարթում է եղել», իսկ  բեռնատար մեքենան «նորմալ արագություն է ունեցել»։ Նրանք նաեւ նշել են, որ դեպքից անմիջապես հետո փորձել են օգնություն ցուցաբերել, բայց անզոր են եղել։
