Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը ապրիլի 19-ին Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում ընդունեց Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգներից Հայաստան ժամանած «Հովնանյան» դպրոցի սաներին և պաշտոնեության ներկայացուցիչներին` ուղեկցությամբ Մայր Աթոռի բարերար Տիար Հրաչ Թուֆայանի:

Այս մասին տեղեկացրին Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական համակարգից:

Ողջունելով «Հովնանյան» դպրոցի սաների այցը Հայրենիք և Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածին՝ Նորին Սրբությունն իր գոհունակությունը հայտնեց, որ այս ամենամյա հանդիպումը գեղեցիկ ավանդույթ է դարձել հատկապես հայ ժողովրդի համար նվիրական ապրիլ ամսին, երբ ազգովի ոգեկոչում ենք Հայոց Ցեղասպանության նահատակների անմահ հիշատակն ու հայցում նրանց բարեխոսությունը Հայոց աշխարհի և մեր ազգի համար: Նորին Սրբությունն ընդգծեց, որ նահատակության և հայրենասիրության այդ ոգին դրսևորվեց նաև վերջին օրերին Արցախում, ուր հայոց բանակի քաջ մարտիկներից շատերն իրենց կյանքի գնով անառիկ պահեցին մեր սահմաններն ու արիության բազում օրինակներ ցույց տվեցին:  Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը հույս հայտնեց, որ նրանց օրինակը պիտի խանդավառի «Հովնանյան» դպրոցի սաներին` նրանց սիրտն ու հոգին լցնելով Հայրենիքի և մեր Մայր Եկեղեցու հանդեպ անսահման սիրով ու նվիրվածությամբ:

Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն իր մասնավոր գնահատանքն ու օրհնությունը բերեց ազգային բարերար Հրաչ Թուֆայանին, որի մշտական հոգածության ներքո են հայ մանուկները, ի մասնավորի Էջմիածնի Հայորդաց տան սաները:

Հանդիպման վերջում Նորին Սրբությունն իր օրհնությունն ու բարձր գնահատանքը հայտնեց նաև «Հովնանյան» դպրոցի պաշտոնեությանը և մանկավարժներին` հորդորելով սաների մեջ վառ պահել հայի անկոտրում ոգին ու հայկական ինքնությունը:
