 Թուրքիայում մինչեւ մայիս հետաձգվել է երկրի Սահմանադրության մեջ կառավարության կողմից փոփոխություններ մտցնելու գործընթացը, որոնք թույլ կտային չեղարկել քրդական Ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատական կուսակցության (ԺԴԿ) եւ այլ պատգամավորներին զրկել անձեռնմխելիությունից` նրանց դեմ շինծու դատական գործեր հարուցելու համար:

Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` վկայակոչելով թուրքական DemokratHaber կայքը, Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանի սահմանադրական հանձնաժողովը պետք է կառավարության այդ առաջարկը քննարկեր ապրիլի 21-ին: Սակայն, այդ հարցով մտքերի փոխանակությունը հետաձգվել է այն բանից հետո, երբ իշխող «Արդարություն  եւ զարգացում» կուսակցությունը (ԱԶԿ) առաջնահերթ քննարկման է դրել «քաղաքական էթիկայի մասին օրենքը»:

Այդ օրենքով ԱԶԿ-ի կառավարությունը, որն այն ներկայացնում է որպես «ահբեկչության դեմ պայքարի» միջոց, ցանկանում է ԺԴԿ-ին մեղադրել այն բանում, որ իբր կուսակցությունը հանդիսանում է Թուրքիայում արգելված Քուրդիստանի աշխատավորական կուսակցության (ՔԱԿ) քաղաքական քողարկումը:

Թուրքական ԶԼՄ-ները հայտնում են, որ հնարավոր է` թուրքական խորհրդարանում այդ օրենքի նախագծի քննարկման ժամանակ ԱԶԿ-ն ձախողվի, եւ այն չընդունվի, սակայն, չի բացառվում, որ քուրդ պատգամավորներին անձեռնմխելիությունից զրկելու եւ նրանց դեմ դատական գործեր հարուցելու համար թուրքական կառավարությունը հարցը դնի համաժողովրդական քվեարկության` հանրաքվեի, ինչը վերջին շրջանում հաճախակի է արվում:

Թուրքական խորհրդարանում 80 աթոռ զբաղեցնող ԺԴԿ-ի պատգամավորները պաշտպանում են թուրքաբնակ քրդերի իրավունքները, սակայն, ԱԶԿ-ն նրանց այդ ձեռնարկունները գնահատում է որպես ՔԱԿ-ի հետ համագործակցություն:
