100 LIVESնախաձեռնության համահիմնադիր, հայտնի գործարարՌուբեն Վարդանյանն անիրական էր համարում  «Ավրորա» մրցանակաբաշխության իրականացումը:  Այս մասին գործարարը խոստովանեց ապրիլի 23-ին 100 LIVES եւ «Ավրորա» մրցանակ նախաձեռնությունների կազմակերպած Aurora Dialogues քննարկումների մեկնարկին:

«Ուրախ եմ ձեզ ողջունել հատկապես Մատենադարանի կամարների ներքո: Երկու տարի առաջ, երբ պատմում էի իմ երազանքի մասին, այն անիրական էր թվում: Այսօր փաստ է, որ հավաքվել ենք Հայաստանի եզակի հաստատությունում` հին ձեռագրերի ինստիտուտում:  Ուրախ եմ ձեզ հայտնել հետևյալը` մենք 100 LIVES-ի շրջանակում հավաքեցինք ցեղասպանության վերապրածների պատմությունները, ներկայացրինք դրանք: Սրանք պատմություններ են, որտեղ ընտանիքի անդամները պատմում են իրենց փրկության մասին: Դրանք այսօր շատ ազդեցիկ են հնչում: Մենք նաև նախաձեռնել ենք թվայնացնել արխիվային փաստաթղթերը: Ցավոք, Օսմանյան կայսրությունում Հայոց ցեղասպանությանն առնչվող շատ փաստաթղթեր չեն գտնվել, բայց եղածները պահպանելու ենք սերունդների համար»,-նշեց Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը:

Նրա խոսքով` նախաձեռնության շրջանակում սիրիացի փախստական 100 երեխաների համար կրթաթոշակ է սահմանվել, որպեսզի նրանք սովորեն լավագույն դպրոցներում:

«Մեր ձգտումն է պահպանել մեր պատմությունը, թույլ չտալ, որ այն մոռացվի: Այս օրերին չափազանց կարևոր թեմաների մասին կխոսենք: Անկախ այն բանից, թե աշխարհի որ ծայրում ենք ապրում, կարող ենք փոփոխություններ իրականացնել: Համոզված եմ, որ միասին կփոխենք աշխարհը»,-հավելեց Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը:

Ապրիլի 23-ին 100 LIVES եւ «Ավրորա» մրցանակ նախաձեռնությունը անցկացնում են  Aurora Dialogues քննարկումները՝ աշխարհի առաջատար գիտնականների, բարերարների, մեդիա-փորձագետների եւ մարդասիրության ոլոտի առաջատարների մասնակցությամբ: Այն մասնագիտական քննարկումների շարք է՝ նվիրված մարդասիրությանն առնչվող ամենահրատապ հիմնախնդիրներին ու մարտահրավերներին աշխարհում։ Ելույթների, քննարկումների եւ հարցուպատասխանի միջոցով՝ Aurora Dialogues-ը նպատակ ունի սկիզբ դնել հանրային քննարկումների, որոնք կանդրադառնան անցյալից դասեր քաղելու, ներկայում գործելու եւ ավելի լավ ապագա ձեւավորելու կարեւորությանը։ Քննարկվում են մարդասիրական ոլորտի հիմնախնդիրների ներկա վիճակը, փախստականների համաշխարհային ճգնաժամը, մարդասիրության գործում կանանց դերը եւ հումանիտար ճգնաժամերի վրա աշխարհի ուշադրությունը հրավիրելու հարցում զանգվածային լրատվության հնարավորությունները։
