Ամերիկայի հայկական խորհուրդը հայտնում է, որ ապրիլի 22-ին Լոս Անջելեսի «Փոքր Հայաստան» շրջանում թուրք ժխտողականները փորձել են քարոզչական քայլեր ձեռնարկել:

Ժխտողականները իրենց “Fact Check Armenia” կայքի հղումներով պաստառներ են փակցրել տեղանքում:  

Խորհրդի ներկայացուցիչներից մի կին փորձել է պաստառներից մեկը պոկել կոնգրեսական Ադամ Շիֆի գրասենյակի պատից, սակայն այդ պահին նրան մոտեցել են երկու տղամարդ և մի կին և կոչ արել չպոկել պաստառը՝ ասելով, թե իբր աշխատում են Հայաստանի կառավարության համար և ցանկանում են հաշտեցման հասնել հայ և թուրք ժողովուրդների միջև: Այդ անձինք, սակայն, որևէ փաստաթուղթ չեն ներկայացրել և չեն կարողացել պատասխանել Հայաստանին առնչվող տարրական հարցերի:

Այս գործողությունները խստորեն դատապարտել են Լոս Անջելեսից ընտրված օրենսդիրները: «Ժխտողականության քարոզն այն փողոցներում, որտեղ կիրակի տասնյակ հազարավոր քաղաքացիներ երթ են կազմակերպելու՝ վկայակոչելով Հայոց ցեղասանությունը, վիրավորական է: Քանի դեռ մենք բարձրացնում ենք ճշմարտության ձայնը, Թուրքիայի և իր դաշնակիցների ժխտողական արշավը երբեք հաջողության չի հասնի»,- նշել է կոնգրեսական Ադամ Շիֆը:

Ժխտողականների այս քայլերը դատապարտել են նաև Լոս Անջելեսի քաղաքային խորհրդի ներկայացուցիչ Մայք Գատտոն և Միչ Օ՛Ֆարելը:
