Ինձ համար մարդկային կյանքն անգին է, չկա մի իրավիճակ որը կարդարացնի թեկուզ մեկ մարդու սպանություն, եթե իհարկե այդ մարդը չի սպառնում մեկ ուրիշի կյանքին, կամ չի խլել մեկ ուրիշի բաժին ուրախությունը:

Երեխաներն ազգություն չունեն, չունեն նաև մաշկի գույն, նրանց պետք չէ ցավ պատճառել, իսկ նրանց համար ցավ է իրենց ծնողների կորուստը, չկա ազգություն ցավի ժամանակ:

Ես չեմ ցանկանում, որ աշխարհում նոր ծիծեռնակաբերդեր վեր խոյանան, ես չեմ ցանկանում, որ մարդկանց սրտում նոր սպիներ առաջանան: Այս օրը հայերի ցավը չէ, այս օրը մարդկային ցավի ու սխալների համաշխարհային օրն է:
