 Իշխանությունները պատրաստ են Ընտրական օրենսգրքի վերաբերյալ լսել կառուցողական առաջարկներ և գնալ փոխզիջումների: Ազգային ժողովի նիստի մեկնարկին այս մասին ասաց՝ պատասխանելով ՀԱԿ խմբակցության ղեկավար Լևոն Զուրաբյանի հարցին: «Ես բարձր եմ գնահատում բոլոր այն պատգամավորների և քաղաքացիական հասարակության ներկայացուցիչների  կարծիքը, որ մենք պետք է փոխզիջումների արդյունքում հասնենք ընտրական օրենսգր քի ընդունմանը: Մենք էլ ենք ափսոսում որ 4+4+4 ձևաչափում կոնսենսուս չի կայացել, սակայն դա Ընտրական օրենսգրքի քննարկման միակ ֆորմատը չէ:  Մենք փոխզիջումների կողմնակից ենք, սակայն մենք պետք է տարանջատենք փոխզիջումն ու ուլտիմատումը»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Շարմազանովը:

Շարմազանովն ընդգծեց, որ Ընտրական օրենսգրքի նախագծին արդեն ընդգրկվել է մեկնարկած քառօրյայի օրակարգում, սակայն դա դոգմա չէ, քանի որ առաջինից երկրորդ ընթերցման ռեժիմում իշխանությունները պատրաստ են լսել կառուցողական առաջարկներ և գնալ փոխզիջումների:

Անդրադառնալով Լևոն Զուրաբյանի դիտարկմանը, թե ՀԱԿ-ը նպատակահարմար չի գտնում ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում լարվածության պայմաններում խորհրդարանում կազմակերպել քննարկումներ, որոնք կարող են ներքաղաքական լարվածություն առաջացնել, ԱԺ փոխնախագահն ասաց. «Ես կիսում եմ ձեր այն կարծիքը, որ չպետք է լինեն ներքաղաքական լարվածություններ: Անկախ նրանից, թե ինչ վիճակ կլինի ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում, մենք պետք է դասեր քաղենք քառօրյա պատերազմից և զերծ մնանք լարվածություն առաջացնելուց, պետք է գնանք միմյանց հարգելու ճանապարհով»,- եզր ափակեց Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:
