Նոր սերունդը երեւի չի հիշում, հինն էլ մոռացել է: 1993-ի երկրորդ կեսին երբ մերոնք իրար հետեւից գրավում էին ադրբեջանական շրջկենտրոնները, այնպես չէր, որ գործողության հենց սկզբից դրա մասին պաշտոնապես հաղորդվում էր հայկական աղբյուրներներում: Սովորաբար օր օրի վրա գալիս էին հետեւյալ տիպի հաղորդագրություններ՝ "թշնամին փորձում է ճեղքել մեր դիրքերն էս ինչ ուղղությամբ, մեր զինվորները ետ են մղում թշնամու բոլոր գրոհները": Հետո գալիս էր "մեր բանակն արժանի հակահարված է տալիս" տիպի արտահայտությունները, եւ միայն ամենավերջում կարող էր լինել՝ "մեր բանակը լռեցնում է թշնամու որոշ կրակակետեր այս ինչ շրջանում": Կռահողը կռահում էր, թե ի՛նչ է տեղի ունենում: Հաճախ էլ, ամբողջ աշխարհն արդեն խոսում էր, թե հայերը մտել են հերթական շրջկենտրոն, իսկ մերոնք դեռ պատմում էին լավագույն դեպքում "կրակակետերի լռեցման" կամ "արժանի հակահարվածի" մասին: Վերջում էլ, թե բա "հակառակորդը լքել է էս ինչ քաղաքը", մերոնք էլ ստիպված, չուզելով մտել են (դե բա հո դատարկ չէին թողնի): Իսկ եթե մերոնց գործերը լավ չէին, ինչպես 93-ի վերջին-94-ի սկզբին, դա էլ կռահում էինք համապատասխան ձեւակերպումներից: Ասածս ինչ է՝ պաշտոնական ռազմական տեղեկատվությունից մի սպասեք բաներ, որոնք չեն կարող լինել այդ ոլորտում: Դա հատուկ լեզու է, որը պետք է սովորել ու հասկանալ: Ո՛չ քաղաքականության, ո՛չ էլ առավել եւս ռազմագիտության մեջ ոչ ոք ձեզ չի դնի բառացի պատմի ամեն բան: Այս ոլորտներում ավելի քան որեւէ այլ տեղ ուղիղ խոսքը ....չասեմ ում են ասում:
