Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի առաջնորդողից մի հատված.

«ՆԱՏՕ-ում մեզ չեն սպասում, դրա համար ենք մտել ՀԱՊԿ։ Երեկ կայացած ասուլիսում հայտարարել Է ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը՝ անդրադառնալով ՀԱՊԿ-ում Հայաստանի անդամակցության նպատակահարմարության հարցին։ «25 տարվա ընթացքում Արևմուտքը Հայաստանի համար այլընտրանքային անվտանգային առաջարկություն չի արել»,– ասել Է նա։ Առաջին հայացքից՝ շարքային այս հայտարարությունները կարելի է սենսացիոն համարել հատկապես վերջին տարիներին վարվող Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականության համատեքստում։ Ընդամենը մեկ ամիս առաջ նման հայտարարությունը Հայաստանի իշխանության որևէ ներկայացուցչի կողմից ուղղակի անհնարին կլիներ։ Բավական Էր փորձել խոսել ՀԱՊԿ–ին Հայաստանի անդամակցության մասին, և Հայաստանի ցանկացած պաշտոնյա ժամերով կբացատրեր, կհիմնավորեր ու կհամոզեր, թե որքան բացառիկ ու անփոխարինելի անվտանգության համակարգ Է ՀԱՊԿ-ն։ Մինչդեռ այսօր հայտարարում են, որ Հայաստանը ՀԱՊԿ-ում Է ոչ այն պատճառով, որ այն Հայաստանի համար գործունակ, երաշխավորված անվտանգության համակարգ Է, այլ որովհետև այլ վայրում «մեզ չեն սպասում»։

Իհարկե, կա նաև խնդրի հակառակ կողմը։ «Այլ վայրում», այդ թվում ու հատկապես՝ ՆԱՏՕ-ում «մեզ սպասելու» համար Հայաստանը չպետք Է իր արտաքին քաղաքականությունը տարիներ շարունակ վարեր այնպես, որ ամեն ինչով նույնացվեր ու նույնականացվեր Ռուսաստանի հետ։ Այսինքն՝ Հայաստանը վերջին տարիներին ամեն ինչ արել է, որպեսզի որևէ այլ, ավելի լուրջ «վայրում» մեզ չսպասեն։ Այսօր Հայաստանը, ըստ էության, աշխարհին ուղերձ է հղում առ այն, որ սխալվել է իր աշխարհաքաղաքական ընտրության հարցում։ Սա, ըստ էության, ուղերձ է այն մասին, որ Հայաստանը պատրաստ է վերանայելու իր աշխարհաքաղաքական կողմնորոշումը, ընդհուպ՝ մինչև անվտանգության համակարգի փոփոխություն։ Բայց այդ ուղերձն իրավացիորեն պարունակում է նաև այն արձանագրումը, որ դրա համար Արևմուտքը պետք է Հայաստանին երաշխիքներ տրամադրի, որոնք անցած տարիներին հայտարարություններից այն կողմ չեն անցել։ Քառօրյա պատերազմը կտրուկ փոփոխությունների, սովորական պայմաններում ոչ սովորական լուծումներ որոնելու անհրաժեշտություն է առաջացրել։ Միայն այդպիսի լուծումներով է հնարավոր ուղղել այն սխալները, որոնք իշխանությունը թույլ է տվել անցած տարիների ընթացքում»,–գրում է թերթը։
