Նոր Զելանդիայի բնակչուհի Բրեանա Սայքսը կեսարյան հատման միջոցով ծննդաբերել է համարյա 6 կգ քաշ ունեցող երեխայի, ով համարվում է երկրում երբևէ լույս աշխարհ եկած ամենածանր նորածիններից մեկը։

Ինչպես նշում է Тhe Daily Mail-ը, «հսկային» Զիադ են անվանակոչել։ Նա արտաքուստ նման է 3 ամսական երեխայի ու առողջական որևէ խնդիր չունի։

«Ծննդաբերությանը մասնակցած բժիշկներից մեկն ինձ ասաց, որ փոքրիկս վերջին 2 տասնամյակում իր տեսած ամենախոշոր նորածինն է»,-նշել է նորաթուխ մայրիկը։

Նա նաև մանրամասնել է, որ ի սկզբանե պետք է ծննդաբերեր բնական ճանապարհով, սակայն պտղի չափերի պատճառով դա նրան չի հաջողվել, ու բժիշկներն անհապաղ կեսարյան հատման վիրահատություն են իրականացրել։

doctors have assured Ms Sykes that the 'chunky' newborn, who is around the size of a three month old, is 'perfectly healthy' and have put his exceptional size down to genetics

'He's just so chunky, beautiful, very chubby, cuddly and sleepy,' the proud mother said

Ms Sykes and Ziad are expected to go home on Tuesday
