Նյու Յորքում տեղի ունեցած Met Gala երեկույթի աստղային շքեղ զույգերից էին Քիմ Քարդաշյանն ու Քանյե Ուեսթը։ Զույգը կրում էր Balmain-ի մոդելավորած հագուստներից։ 
 
Met Gala-ին Քանյե Ուեսթը ներկայացել էր կապույտ լինզաներով, ինչը քննարկման առիթ էր դարձել, բայց ոչ այնքան, որքան Քիմ Քարդաշյանի հոնքերը։
 
Համացանցի օգտատերերը նկատել էին, որ Քիմի մուգ սև հոնքերն անհետացել են՝ շնոհիվ, իհարկե, նրա դիմահարդար Մարիո Դեդիվանովիչի, ով գունաբացել էր Քիմի հոնքերը հենց այս միջոցառման համար։
