Իսրայելը թույլտվություն է ստացել Բրյուսելում ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր շտաբին կից մշտական ներկայացուցչություն բացելու: Այդ մասին չորեքշաբթի հայտնել է հրեական պետության ԱԳՆ-ի մամուլի ծառայության ղեկավար Էմանուել Նախշոնը, հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը: 

Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքը «Իսրայելին տեղեկացրել է, որ նա կարող է մշտական ներկայացուցչություն բացել Բրյուսելում կազմակերպության գլխավոր շտաբին կից եւ ավարտել ՆԱՏՕ-ին կից սեփական մշտական ներկայացուցչի հավատարմագրումը», ասել է նա:

«Այդ հայտարարությունը (ՆԱՏՕ-ին կից Իսրայելի ներկայացուցչություն բացելու հնարավորություն մասին) արվել է (Իսրայելի) արտգործնախարարության եւ պաշտպանության նախարարության դիվանագիտական երկարատեւ ջանքերից հետո», - նշել է Նախշոնը:

Իսրայելի ԱԳՆ-ն նաեւ նշել է, որ երկրի վարչապետ Բենյամին Նեթանյահուն ողջունել է Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքի որոշումը:  «Ես ողջունում եմ ՆԱՏՕ-ի այդ հայտարարությունը, դա կարեւոր քայլ է Իսրայելի անվտանգությանն աջակցության գործում», - ասել է վարչապետը, որի խոսքերն է տարածել հրեական պետության ԱԳՆ-ի մամուլի ծառայությունը: Նրա խոսքով, դա հանդիսանում է «Իսրայելի կարգավիճակի եւ բազմաթիվ կազմակերպությունների` անվտանգության ոլորտում նրա հետ համագործակցելու ցանկության եւս մեկ ապացույց»: Նեթանյահուն ներկայումս զբաղեցնում է նաեւ երկրի արտաքին գերատեսչության ղեկավարի պաշտոնը:
