««Չեմ կարծում, որ Հայաստանը կճանաչի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի անկախությունը։ Դա փորձ Է՝ օգտագործել այս խաղաթուղթը՝ Ադրբեջանին նոր ագրեսիայից զերծ պահելու նպատակով, ինչը, սակայն, քիչ արդյունավետություն կունենա։ ՀՀ-ի կողմից Արցախի ճանաչումն Ադրբեջանի ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարությանը դժվար թե այդքան «վախեցնում» Է ու ետ կպահի հարձակման նոր փորձերից։ Ընդհակառակը, պատրաստ գտնվելու դեպքում Բաքուն կարող Է հպրձակվել` ուշադրություն չդարձնելով՝ Հայաստանը ճանաչե՞լ Է Արցախը, թե՞ ոչ։ Մյուս կողմից, Արցախի ճանաչումը մեծ քաղաքական դիվիդենտներ դժվար թե բերի Հայաստանին, քանի որ դա որևէ անվտանգության հարց, գլոբալ առումով, չի լուծի։ Ուրիշ բան, եթե Արցախը, օրինակ, միացվի ՀՀ-ին։ Հավանաբար կստեղծվի շատ ավելի նոր իիավիճակ՝ ունենալով ազդեցություն նաև աշխարհաքաղաքական որոշ գործընթացների վրա, օրինակ Մոլդավայի՝ Ռումինիային միանալու հարցում, և այլն»,– «168 ժամի» թղթակցի հետ զրույցում այս մասին է ասել Մեծ Բրիտանիայի Լեսթերի համալսարանի հետախուզության, անվտանգության ու ռազմավարության բաժնի գիտաշխատող էդուարդ Աբրահամյանը՝ մեկնաբանելով ԼՂՀ անկախության ճանաչման օրինագծի վերաբերյալ Մոսկվայի բուռն արձագանքները։

Նրա խոսքով, ՌԴ-ի մտավախությունը պարզ Է՝ Հայաստանը, ճանաչելով ԼՂՀ անկախությունը, կխառնի Մոսկվայի ծրագրերը տարածաշրջանում, որն իրենից ոչ միայն ԱՄՆ-ին հակամարտությունից զերծ պահել Է ենթադրում։ «Ճանաչումը կթաղի Մոսկվայի գլխավոր տարածաշրջանային ծրագիրը ՝ միավորել Հայաստանը, Արցախը և Ադրբեջանը համընդհանուր քաղաքական, տնտեսական ու անվտանգության աշխարհաքաղաքական տարածության մեջ, որի հնարավորությունը, ըստ Մոսկվայի, տալիս է Եվրասիական Միությունն ու ՀԱՊԿ-ը»,– նկատել Է Աբրահամյանը։ Սակայն, նրա խոսքով, ռուսական ազդեցության համար կործանարար կլինի, եթե, օրինակ, Երևանը միավորի ԼՂՀ-ն Հայաստանի իրավաքաղաքական դաշտին։ «Դե ֆակտո պետությունների օգտագործման մեծ փորձ ունի Ռուսաստանը նույն Մերձդնեստրում, Աբխազիայում, Հարավային Օսեթիայում, վերջերս ձևավորված, այսպես կոչված, Լուգանսկի ու Դոնեցկի ժողովրդական հանրապետություններում։ Սրանք բոլորն անխտիր ռուսական արտաքին քաղաքականության մանիպոպացիայի գործիքներ են Ուկրաինայի, Վրաստանի, Մոլդավայի դեմ։ Հատկանշական է, որ Արցախը միակ դե ֆակտո պետական կազմավորումն է, որտեղ այս կամ այն կերպով առկա չէ ուղղակի ռուսական գործոնը՝ տեղակայված զորքերի տեսքով»,– մեկնաբանել Է Էդուարդ Աբրահամյանը»,–գրում է թերթը։
